they make deal on every 34inch monitor just wait for post

According to Kogan reviews on OzBargain here’s what I gathered: Quality issues.
Post-purchase warranty and customer service takes an eternity before they reach a conclusion.

        • Fair call on the support issues, but remember only the people with issues tend to speak out.

Mine (34 144Hz Kogan) is going strong!

Anyway i still recommend ppl buy LG monitor. Bought 1080p 34 monitor at scorptec at 2016, cost me $625. And the warrenty is 3years and when it come to 2 years 10 months the control button not work properly(not affect the screen just cant adjust screen setting) then i ask LG for warrenty, and i drop off the monitor at a auth shop, after like 2 months they said they cant fix this problem and give me the full refund.

So you were without a monitor for 2 months? Despite receiving a refund thats a pretty awful turnaround for a result and not one to praise LG for.

    What's the USB ports for?

      Hub.

  • good colour support
    79% aRGB

    • Xiaomi does not even support Adobe RGB

      • yes 84%. 5%better than this lul

        • Yes, Xiaomi does. Sorry Monitor compare.com didn’t even show it.

      • It would, just depends on how well it covers it

  • +3

I don't really see why you'd get this over the Xiaomi even if you didn't care about the refresh rate?

        Excuse me?

        • I said I have a Xiaomi too. However the Xiaomi is going to be a long wait due to stock shortages at the moment

      • +1

Adobe RGB is not a feature, it's a colour space (metric of measurement).

That said this monitor isn't awful, it's just… featureless? 60hz, no overdrive settings, no USB Type-C connector, standard 300nits brightness and no FreeSync.

A bit like eating pizza without any topping.

  • Using a USB-A to Lightning or USB-C cable cns charge your phone. Not ideal for tablets as it’ll only be a slow charge.

Connect other peripherals such as better speakers or even USB drives to connect to your computer

    • So does it mean that in addition to the hdmi cable you need to connect a USB cable to the computer?

      • No need. One DisplayPort cable or HDMI cable is enough to connect your laptop/Desktop to the monitor.

USB connection is only optional to plugin other USB drives, like maybe a wired mouse and keyboard

Xiaomi 34inch 144hz monitor would be much better option for $599

    • I'm glad you said that cos I just ordered

    • I was on the Xiaomi 34 until know its black smearing problem. it looks terrible.

I know this is the problem for all VA monitors, but would it be better on a 1ms response monitor? Xiaomi is 4ms

  • I would prefer curved at that size

  • I've got this one, its pretty good but has terrible viewing angles.
