When it first came to Aus stock, it was being sold at $149. I don't believe it's ever returned to that price after quickly selling out. I believe $165 has been the lowest pricing since.

Assuming you mean the 3600 (not the 3600X), then they are both great options; and will depend on your individual circumstances, overall PC build, budget, performance requirements, use case, etc. etc. Short version though, if you can justify spending the extra $100; you probably won't regret it.

Assuming you mean the 3600, and it depends on what you're using it for. Just keep in mind this is on Zen+ (it's basically a Ryzen 5 2600), not Zen 2, and won't be compatible with newer motherboards such as the b550.

Probably this, I'm shocked that for $119 you can get 4+2 VRMs and 4 DIMM slots with a small heatsink on the Vcore MOSFETs.

Looked at a similar deal but just couldn't justify such an ancient chip over the 3600.. Rather future proof for my design/gaming rig so picked up mine for $300 at mwave and had it the next day.. Screw these amazon cheap deals that take a month to ship for hardly any savings (1600 i looked at was amazon $160 free shipping)
