    Are they the same? The Amazon website says that one is PCIE 4.0 and the PLE one says PCIE 3.0.

    Edit - I think the Amazon description is likely wrong.

      I'd say Amazon are wrong. They also say;

      Support: PCI-E 2.0/ 3.0, Data Transmission Speed: up to 8Gbps

      .. same as PLE.

  Virtually every vertical mount runs hotter, unsure if this is set back enough but it's not the smartest thing case manufacturers have come out with.

    Agreed that they run hotter but some people do value aesthetics over performance and IMO it'd be a waste to not mount a nice looking card like the Gigabyte AORUS RTX lineup vertically.
