Looks like a pricing error to me. Otherwise that's an absolute bargain, though as above, I don't have a login to see that price either.

Edit: Found a login. not available in Perth DC so still can't see the price.

I don't need it ….but at tht price I want it

  • This isn't brushless?
Im trying to find the bosch deal too

  • Melbourne: Part is not available for purchase in your postcode. Please remove this part from cart to proceed with checkout…

  • Stock unavailable: Melbourne

  • That's a great price if people can get it for that.

Called store advised not available.. what a waste of time. didnt they do same thing with Dewalt?

  • can we try price match? :p

Usual Blackwoods experience. Painful. Products don't exist. Neither pickup nor postage works.
"Part is not available for purchase in your postcode. Please remove this part from cart to proceed with checkout…"

  • Postage seems to work for me in Melbourne? Southeast suburbs.

I went with the Bosch 2 piece we'll see what happens!

    • Do they normally call to say it isn't in stock. Or if you get to the point on their website that the order goes through. You will most likely receive?

      • Not sure first time buying through them. However just checked my invoice and its on backorder for delivery on 1/09/2020. So it's quite likely the order will be cancelled

        • ordered mine but says on invoice pick and pack.

          • @Snoref: Was that the Bosch or the Makita set?

            • @Avo: Bosch

But not sure if its a good deal, but need a drill

              • @Snoref: Me too.

Go to this promo I just redeemed a 5.0Ah battery and got an email back 30 mins later saying it's approved. Although there are still doubts as to if my purchase will be processed

                https://www.boschbluecrew.com.au/LoadUp

                • @Avo: thanks for that, put my details in. Awaiting to hear back.

I ordered Bosch combo with two 6.0 ah battery.
      https://www.blackwoods.com.au/power-tools/cordless-power-too…

Got delivered in 9 days to Vic.

Also, I was able to claim 5.0 ah battery via Bosch redemption which is not mentioned in Blackwoods site though. So hopefully I can sell this additional battery to further reduce my purchase cost.

Web site says that it is available for delivery and changes its mind after you enter your credit card details. No stock anywhere for pickup in Queensland either. Waste of time.

  • stock unavailable sydney?

  • Anyone had any luck? Doesn't say brushless though

  • +1

Negative, Signed up and entered all details. No stocks

  • +2

Great deal but, no stock, no delivery options, no pick up options, terrible checkout process…not so great deal.

    • +2

Agree.. waste of time. Site sucks

  • +4

Why doesn’t your website state that stock is unavailable before you have to log in, put your credit card details, fill in your address etc then place order only to be told you have no stock, this is the second time it’s happened through your site where in the 21st century not the 18th ……

maybe its the purpose of this deal.

I tried ordering online also with no success, so I called Blackwood's and was able to order over the phone, but was told it was the last one they had in Australia, so I got lucky.
    Thanks for posting it Rahools.
    Cheers

  • I don't know about the rest of the Makita gear but that grinder is their low end brushed model that only takes 115mm disks. The 125mm brushless is much better but obviously more expensive

Called up, they're out of stock Australia wide and they're not getting any more
