just what i needed for lockdown shopping

    • +1

Exactly. Pretty inept targeting from Flybuys to put a much higher amount than my weekly spend in front of me when I'm in Melbourne.

In fact, I have only spent $90 with them four times in nine months yet they want me to repeat that over four weeks during a lockdown.

In addition, I didnt even respond to the last offer which had better terms than this.

I hope this isn't their day job.

Thanks for posting this. My emails from flybuys always arrive late, usually the day after I've shopped, and I always forget to check the up to date offers before I go out. When I checked my account I had a $60 offer, so that's great, not too much to spend.

$140/week over four weeks? Yeah nah.

    • +2

Don't use it for few months it will come down, i found that using it to but gift card will also drive up the weekly spend

      • +1

Yes, have always been getting $70 or $80 even $90 p/week. Finally down to $50 after weeks of not buying more than $40 in a transaction.

      • so i guess just don't scan FB at all? (but still use GC then)

        • Yes, as it won't give you much points on your daily shop $2 for 1 point

    • same same - except mine is $210 / wk - dreamin…

  • +2

Wooo, after shit offers for the past 8-9 months, I'm back down to $50 per week

  • Is there any benefit of choosing either the 10,000 points or $50 off? I will most likely just use it for $50 off my shop anyway

    • Used to be if you liked VFF.

      • Otherwise youi can just transfer to $50 flybuys dollars anyways lol

    • +4

I would choose points and redeem as Flybuys dollar, which Flybuys dollars you can spend at Coles express, targets…

Also you don't need to spend $50 in one go after you convert to Flybuys dollars

      • +1

Yes, FB dollars are more flexible. Moreover when you use the discount you will not get FB points and, probably, the discounted amount won't be counted towards any promos.

      • +3

Not sure why you got downvoted, but I agree that points are way better, you don't need to spend $50 in one transaction so just convert them to Flybuy dollars and use them as you shop.

You only get 30 days to spend the $50, I have almost been caught out in the past where I had a Woolies $50 offer for four weeks straight after the Coles one, so I wasn’t shopping at Coles for those weeks and almost forgot to claim it. Points allows u to use it as fly buys dollars when ever you are ready to

  • Hahaha mine's $400 each week, for four weeks. LOL

  • I've got two options. One of them is "Spend $240 for 4 weeks and get 20000 points". Quite unusual.

    • I got 20,000 if spend $180/week for 4 weeks or 10,000 for $130/week for 4 weeks. Guess they expect us to spend more :)

  • Coles stopped sending me these since March. It could be that I stopped scanning my card, or that I deleted the app and just use the website. I get the bonus offers for buying single items but never do those.

    • I created my account 1-2 years ago. I also don’t get these offers. I don’t know how to get these

  • Mine is $50/week for 10k points; making it 25% off if I stick to $200 spend over 4 weeks. Shame I normally don't spend that much in my weekly shopping…

    • As a single bloke living alone I don't need to spend that much either.
What I do is buy the food I need, then make up the rest with things like cleaning products and bathroom products that are on special.

  • I got 20,000 if spend $180/week for 4 weeks or 10,000 for $130/week for 4 weeks

Coles just stiffed me on the last spend $150 bonus points offer saying it needed to be one transaction even though their terms clearly said otherwise, pretty disappointed

  • My offer t&cs say that it can be either one shop of $70/week or multiple shops equaling $70 in a week are also accepted.. it's a new thing I guess, a lot more flexibility

    • +1

Not new thing. Last time was also same.

      • Fairly new.
The last offer I got was $100 in one week over multiple shops but I didn't get close. Now it wants $100 pw x 4? Ah well…

  • +2

I have been getting rediculous incentives for months now - not even close to where we punch. And they want 4 weeks in a row. Nope, not biting.

This offer is $190 x 4 weeks for 10,000 points. We never spend close to that at Coles. Tell em' they're dreaming.

I think we will jump ship.

  • If I use flybuy dollars, will that transaction still count for this promotion?

    • +2

yes, how you pay is nothing to do with what you spend on. you just need to buy anything(not things that is on exclusion list) to the amount of your promotion.

  • Got $90 for 2000 points and $70 x4 for 10k. Shame as it was $50 x4 last time.

  • Mine is $280 x 4 weeks = 10,000 Flybuys.

I liked it better when single shop offers would overlap and i would get 2-3000 points twice for the same $180—300 shop.

    • You must shop a lot in Coles

      • +1

        teenagers eat alot

        • Can you redeem flybuys for gastric band surgery?

  • i could not find this offer on my flybuys dashboard anymore.. anyone on same boat?

    • Have you activated and spent?

Check your week 1 and week 2's docket, it should say you have 2 more week to go?

  • not me
