Do not recommend, because of this and this.
And Kogan dollars are worth less than real dollars, because their things are usually overpriced. Save yourself the hassle and horrible customer experience.

        Don't be a disgruntled goat.

Got their black friday deal last year and used the $500 for a dyson v10 stick vac, ended up paying $200 out of pocket and haven't had an issue with the CC at all.

To be fair, why on earth anyone would use this after spending $3k is beyond me. So it shouldn't be an issue.

I did it with the black Friday deal. $500 credit. Bonus $20 off $50 spend some months later.

My experience was that it's a crap card and customer service (i.e. application process kept giving me sms reminders to lodge info I'd already lodged, right up to "final reminders".. Apparently they didn't have enough staff to process the demand for black Friday applications; the app requires permissions it should NOT have.. So i just logged in via the website to check and pay off the balance). But I'd recommend it. Free money from Ruslan sounds good to me.

    Kogan, yuck! Promoting business here

  • After the shocking experiences i've read lately, i'd hate to have any ties to kogan.

Horrible, Horrible value for a CC signup

    • Do you recommend anything better for $0 annual fees?

Hmm just cancelled my Coles MC but willl wait for a 500$ kogan GC

  • Deal is good. Kogan are horrible. One of the worst businesses I haVe ever dealt with. Throw in Citi as the free card provider and you have no hope!

    No no no!

  • i spend $3000 on everyday purchases all the time

Waiting for $500 gift voucher before considering this.

I didn't see anything in the T&C about previous cardholders being excluded? I just canceled my one from black Friday. Wondering if I'm eligible.

    • +1

Correct. Looks like there is no 12 month wait period.

  • Duh how come I missed out the $500 last year deal…..

  • +1

Customer service is almost non existent.
If you buy stuff if Kogan it's not bad.

Not sure if there's any cards that pay 1c value per dollar rewards? Often there stuff is over priced unfortunately

I got the $500 deal last year, super easy for me and purchased non-kogan branded products. Worked out great for me.

    • +1

Yep same. I've been using Kogan credit for my Nintendo supplies. Still have some credit left over.

I got this when it was $500. Have bought stuff since on the Kogan website and the accruing credit has come in handy. Prob acrued $100 in the last year. Given it's no fees and I don't want flight points atm, this is currently my go-to card.

And no issue with Kogan, their prices or service. But your experience may be different to mine.

  • thanks for the post.

quick question: can Kogan.com credit be used for Marketplace items ? Or can it only be used for the "directly sold by Kogan" products?

    • All products via Kogan.com.

      • thanks. this actually looks like a pretty good deal, considering that there is no usual "if you previously held a xxx card, you are not eligible" as per the T&C
