These are terrible, they start falling apart fast and you can't chew them any more, it's awful feeling when it starts falling apart in your mouth, like vomit.

    • +4

Terrible agree..are given away at events many other places also.
Will be why they are being cleared via Amazon here

    • +18

This is indeed true, but for $5 I will chew spearmint-flavoured vomit.

    • +4

      I actually like these!

The first 10 seconds are a bit runny but then they're good. Prefer the blue ones myself though

    • Agree, fall apart and go slimy

    • Yeh these are the pillows. No deal

    • Agreed, came in to post the same thing. Horrible texture on these - no wonder they are just about giving them away

    • Should be. Criteria is $5 or more including GST.

    Made in China?

    • +9

Yep, I just checked an empty container.

      • +3

Thank god I read the comments.

    • +14

yep and they’re inferior to the Australian made ones

      • I have a couple of packs of these bought at Coles and they are also made in China…

      • +1

        like Snickers

      • The Australian made ones are much better, proper chewing gum shape and texture.

    • +16

      I will pass..

    • +12

Made in China… Sorry my personal negative vote just on that… Just like my negative vote for Snickers that's made in China

    • +12

look around, you can't live without stuff made in china mate

      • +5

Snickers and gum made in China. That's a no thanks for me too and I'm sure if more people knew they would have a change of heart. I can deal with everyday products being made in China but I draw the line at my packaged food.

        • +3

Snickers being produced in China (and other Mars Chocolate Lines being produced overseas) was suppose to be temporarily while they upgrade their Factories in Ballarat.

That was a few years ago, most likely staying in China now…

      • +1

There's "stuff" and there's food, worlds of difference.

      • +2

For Electronics and furniture, I will agree with you.
Not for food. Aussie mostly and some Europeon.

Support local made produce and products if they are slightly expensive. Moving factories overseas has long term consequenses.

        • European and consequences

        • If you voted for the Labor Party or the Liberal Party you voted to move factories overseas.

          • @Diji1: Shd I vote for Palmer?
We always have a choice. Buy local. Trend will change..

        • you got all this talk about supporting local and consequences moving overseas but you say support some european?
          thats a little racist…

      • We're actually talking about the stuff you put inside your body here

    • +3

OECD countries are not innocent for making "Made in China": to not pollute our own environment and resources, to not let our employees live with subpar wages, to not let our people endure with subpar living standard, etc. On the other hand, you should be grateful for having Made in China stuff so that you can still afford and without compromising a lot more from your wages and your standard of living. Does it make sense to you now or do you seriously still 'dislike' stuff made in China to the point you might as well strip self naked?

      • to not let our employees live with subpar wages

National median income has been falling in Australia for over 40 years. What country are you talking about?

    Received mine today.

    Best Before: 28 October 2020

    • Wow, within 2 months you have to finish chewing them

  • +3

    DO NOT BUY THIS SHIT.
IT THE FLAVOUR LASTS FOR 2 MINUTES.
IT GOES SOFT AND STICKS TO YOUR TEETH.

ALSO THE EXPIRY DATE IS IN OCTOBER 2020!!!
    Made in china outsourced crap.

  • Received mine just now, Best Before: 28 Oct 20 !! Gees they should have put short dated in the description, lots of gum to finish for 2 months!

    • +1

Agree, there was no note to say its short best before date stock. I contacted Amazon to have it sent back due to the short best before date. Got refunded for the 4 boxes I purchased and they asked me to dispose it.

  • It also has a different ingredient as the main ingredient. Xylitol! Which is a a sugar and alcohol.
This is not in standard chewing gum made in Australia.
Hence the poor chewing and rush of sweetness.

  • Got them today. Absolute rubbish and a waste of money. Shame on Wrigley for outsourcing to China.

  • +1

Lol we all got dupe. How we gonna finish this before October 20?

There needs to be warnings on these types of deals
