Dupe I think. I recall someone else posting this a while ago.

Edit: Nevermind. It's a dollar cheaper now lol.

    • You can't even wear it? Well that's a shame.

  • Well, I only got about 20 days left of my Xbox Live so I'll just grab one of these :D

    • Last time I ordered from them took me almost 4 weeks to get the item.

I ordered the Gears of War 3 branded 12+2 month Gold and it arrived in about 9-10 business days. I'm not quite sure, but it was fairly quick.

And most things I purchase from OzGameShop arrive within 2 weeks or thereabouts.

For reference, I'm in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

        • recently got this..took around 2 weeks…
everything from here is shipped from the UK FYI…
they trick us with the name! :P

  • I have some 10 months remaining on my Xbox Live Gold account. Can I top it up now if I buy this, or do I have to wait for my subscription to expire before topping up?

    • You can redeem (if I recall correctly) up to 36 months worth of live at a time.
But yes, you definitely can redeem whilst you still have some left!

  • Just watch how many you buy. After 14 months a new console from Microsoft might be out.

    • I doubt it's an issue. It would most likely role over onto new console at the slightest chance of a next generation.

Also, it's very unlikely they would release a new console before 2013 (as rumours have it)- especially since Halo 4 is coming out around this time next year on the 360, which would make no sense as to why they would release a new addition to one of their biggest franchises on the 360 if they were about to make the console redundant.

Ive had live since xbox 1 and it certainly does roll over :)

Having a big 5 next to my profile makes me feel pro haha (5 years on live)

        • Ah, then it would be good for the xbox players to stock up then!

    • maths fail, the xbox live pass will expire before those 14 months pass, assuming you use it shortly after it arrives

  • Thanks I just purchased one.

      and rubbish

If by free you mean getting your personal and billing details hacked, then sure… "free".

Enjoy using both the 360 and the PS3 but I've got to hand it to Microsoft when it comes to XBL. Over the years they've somehow not only managed to convince users to pay for a service that should always be free, but also have those same users DEFENDING such a policy. Coming from someone who's been gaming for close to 30 years now I thought the concept of paid multiplayer would NEVER fly on such a scale, but boy was I wrong. Utterly brilliant how they've managed to pull it off. Hats off, caps doffed.

      • if I knew I would get good value from it, i would take up a xbox live pass. It's just that I dont game to a schedule, so it would be wasteful for me to pay for it when I might go out or just watch tv, but thats just me. Psn fan by default

Yeah but I don't pay full price for live, ever.
I think it's cost me $15 for the next 13 months of Live cause of various promotions that have been here on Ozbargain.
$15 and I can jump on whenever I want and play with friends, works for me.

      • Yep all those blind fanboys

  • thanks ordered 1

  • I don't know much about the xbox… can I buy this now but not activate it until after xmas (when my son gets his xbox)?

    • Yes. When your son makes his gamertag (account) you will be asked if you want to upgrade to Xbox Live Gold, and you can either use your credit card or enter a code. Buying this will give you the code for 14 months.

  • Sold out……….. :(

Here is a link for a similar deal from another good uk site:

    http://www.dvd.co.uk/buy/cat52m%2D00196/xbox-live-cod-mw3-th…

  • They've got more in stock. Just purchased

  • Purchased. Thankyou bloke. My current subscription runs out in 4 days though…have to call Microsoft and sort out alternative arrangements that will avoid the auto renew for 12months at the "superamazinglowlowlow" price of $79 :(

    • Takes 5 minutes or so to do it.
Theres also currently a deal for 1 month for $1 showing on the dashboard of a silver account I have. Have a look for it, you can use the two controller trick to buy it for your gold account.

  • Can anyone confirm this works on already register Australian Xbox live accounts. Seeing as its coming from the UK.
