First post in a long while so please be kind!

So today my old Choetech 65w USB-C PD charger died with a pretty loud/scary electrical pop after 2 years of usage. Luckily came across this on sale at banggood, which is significantly cheaper than what I could find elsewhere.

3 ports, with a max of 65W over USB-C PD (if no other ports are used), and also supports 18w QC on the USB-A port. Comes with a 5A rated usb-c to usb-c cable too.

This will actually be the second one I own, the first one is going well - charges my XPS13 perfectly without issues!

With shipping from the GWTR warehouse and the 10% off coupon code it should be $32.80 AUD!'

      Oh interesting, I am typing on my X1 Carbon right now, and I must say… I have had many issues with finding cables and adaptors to support it for charging. I can only seem to charge it with the original charger. I tried an 18W charger, and even that didn't work… Seeing that you had good luck with one of these, I might actually buy something similar :)

        I don't think the X1 can be charged with an 18W charger properly. But this charger can do 45W on the usb-c1 port. You just need to combine it with a cable that supports PD charging like this one

      Pro tip: get a USB C monitor. One cable for power and video from laptop to monitor and that's it.
      The monitor is a USB dock/charger so one less thing on your desk

      They cancelled my order (wireless charger) today after a week saying they're out of stock. The fact, two days after my order they said it's shipped. Very disappointing 😡

      If you mean this one I got mine this week but one of the usb-c ports is crooked and one is cracked. Haven't tested if it's working as yet - deciding if I should just return it.

      I tend to get a bit worried by things that go pop.

      And things that plug into 240 volts and go pop, bang or fizz should worry everybody.

      There is a reason why there are testing requirements for electrical products sold in Australia and connected to 240V. Can I encourage those excited by this deal to consider that?

      PS: I have devices out the wahoo and understand the attraction of many of these devices. Just consider whether saving even $50 is worth the potential of a household fire in the middle of the night.

        good question - you could try selling them, or have it as a charger for another location you often use the laptop within (E.g. one in lounge, one in bedroom), or get extra creative / risque / risky with the long cabling, a la mrdavedave.. lol

      That is a nice way of saying they could just do it the same way as other Chinese sellers - use alternative logistics service instead of China Post. The best case of direct mail is that the provider would go China to Australia (without going through another country in the middle). A lot of those logistics used by Chinese sellers go through multiple carriers and can even go via an intermediate country before reaching Australia.

    Yep its a wall charger, its still plenty good. If it was a battery it'd state a capacity, which could be anywhere between 2000mah (very bad) or perhaps 30000mah if you were lucky. Also it'd usually have the word powerbank, instead of charger.

    But thats ok, its a cheap lesson for the future to check the details before buying! I'm sure you'll find it plenty useful in the future!

    Using this as we speak. its been good. Only wish there were more inputs though. Its really good for those using laptops with 45w+ chargers USB-C chargers. Sold my laptop charger to be replaced with this.

    Love these multi-port AC chargers. They are so useful. Have an old Blitzwolf one which is fantastic apart from a small high pitched whine. This looks like a good deal.
