@aka nioh: Hold up, you got ignored initially mate. If I've got the story right, they only responded once you appealed to the public and potentially compromised their reputation.

So if I buy this toilet and it acts up, I won't be able to elicit a response through private channels, like a professional business? Instead, having to resort to exposing private messages? Hey if that's the standard you're comfortable with, you do you.

Had it in my cart but think I'll head to bunnings instead for a 3 yr local warranty.

              • @ScrubCorps: All I've written is my experience. Feel free to perceive it how you want, and I will continue to do what I do, no need for you to tell me.

If you believe Bunnings and local warranty is fullproof, you're in for a rude awakening.

                • +1

@aka nioh: No one mentioned foolproof. But if you had purchased the Dlucci bidet and claimed under warranty, I'm all ears for your comprehensive experience, just like the one you presented above.

The rude awakening being the bunnings bloke palming me off, then caving in when I complain online 3 months later? Okay.

                  • @ScrubCorps: Well I'm glad that writing up my experience has helped influenced your decision making. I'm also glad that youre not on the same situation as I am, but if by any chance Bunnings bidet gives you a problem please let us know how you go. With evidence.

I appreciate the negative light youre spinning on my experience, describing my written evidence as a leak, insinuating about my standards. It takes a special type of person to do what you do.

                    • +1

@aka nioh: Mate, it started off with a joke and you ran off and took it personal; maybe I didn't convey it right and that's my fault. I think I can speak for some, especially being on a site like OzB, that we appreciate anecdotal evidence and experiences such as yours, as it helps to hold sellers accountable, who operate with no storefronts or have a face, unlike a nationwide chain.

Did you not screenshot your private conversation with OP? Your wall of a post was littered with 'negative light' - hell you even negged the post -, then you immediately changed your stance once it garnered attention for OP to respond. Denigrate and attack my character all you want. We're all on here for a bargain, and sometimes shit happens, but that does not warrant ignoring your customers.

                      • @ScrubCorps: I appreciate how you still point out that I ran off with it and made it personal while making an off comment that it was your fault in order to make you seem benevolent. I only defended my character as you denigrated and attacked my character first. Unprovoked. But then again as I said before it takes a special person to do what you do to someone who gets a faulty product and is trying to help others avoid his situation.

There's some things you joke about. Let me know the next time when you have a product that doesn't work for you for 6 months and you didn't have support for those 6 months and we can have a laugh at your expense. At least the seller did me right
after this whole debacle of a review, which was not my intention. I wanted to provide a review to help others avoid my situation. But as always there is a member of the Ozb community who is unappreciative and toxic even though they have benefited from my review "I removed the toilet from my cart, because I'm not comfortable with your standards" . You're welcome mate.

                        • +1

@aka nioh: @ScrubCorps I have to say that Our warranty support in @Aka nioh case is not acceptable in the first place, we did not clear understand his request and assuming app should work. We try to find the solution for him now, hopefully can solve his problem shortly.

                        • @aka nioh: Lol I'm so done with this argument. You're clearly not understanding the point of my posts, which was to hold OP accountable. Thanks for misconstruing and presenting it as a jab at your misfortune, when you know full damn well it was about demanding accountability and professionalism from an online business. You can rant about how this was all about 'oh no woe is me' or 'damsel in distress' and call me a special type of person all you want, I am certain that prospective buyers won't stand for OP's disreputable antics, which is the main issue at hand.

                          • @ScrubCorps: The only one portraying themselves as a victim is you. And the one who loves to criticise others yet cannot stand being criticised.

Feel free to be the bigger person by not responding to this reply to prove you are 'so done with it'. Have a good day, mate. Lol.

  • So it blow your ass dry? After massaging it with water?

    massage flushing

  • Hi there, when is this offer expiring? Thanks

  • Can someone comment who already has this unit? Want to replace my current one which is an abosulte jet spray but ugly as.

  • How much should I pay for this to be fitted if I do buy it?

    • A beer, for yourself

      • +1

I'm an idiot, I just realised its only the seat. I can easily do that. lol For some reason I thought it was the whole toilet.

  • "Pulse massage, give you a new experience"

    That's true, it would be

  • Does anyone with the toilet from aldi know if this would fit

    • The previous Smartmi one had a 2 cm overhang at the rear and a uncovered 2 cm "porcelain" lip overlap at the front.
It was properly fitted by the plumber and there really is nothing you can do about it, until the design is better modifed for "all toilets".
Less bulky rear parts for these bidet designs seems unlikely though.

  • Where does this Ship from? In the last version, my filter started to leak from the base where the plastic meets the metal fitting. This is why Metal to plastic in plumbing is against Australian standards. Metal to Metal or Plastic to Plastic. This one has a plastic filter but you can bypass it and connect it straight to plumbing.

    • Ship from Melbourne. This version have copper water inlet at main device.

For those who want China to know their poop schedule as well if tiktok wasn't enough

  • The app and connectivity on this device is shit. You will be forced to use the buttons on the side as your only means to control this device. Which takes away some of the features…

  • Just installed this today.
Can confirm app connectivity is absolute crap. First of all, the device isn't on the AU server yet, so you have to create an account on the Chinese server, which is unreliable and most of the time the device list doesn't even load to let you add the device. Once you do have the device added, there's lag when using the app controls, presumably because it's routing through the Chinese server.

    • Yes I've personally never used the app when on the toilet, only to change the heat timer or other settings. Seems kind of dumb anyway.
