hey there, I'm happy to give you a bargain in return - I'll just take only USD 2500 in cash. That's an unbelievable saving of over 49%!

    • Isn't $6 per month = $72 per year? What am I missing?

  • I assume it's $5,000 USD for new AWS customers only. Correct?

    • Hi, the offer is not restricted to new customers and you can apply as an existing customer, however AWS may decline the promotion if the customer has already received benefits from AWS in the past.

      • How do you know if this will potentially apply to you?

        • Generally this would apply if you are already an AWS Activate member and have had Credits applied to your account previously. Likely you would have received AWS credits in the past is you have been part of a Startup Accelerator or Co-working space who partnered with AWS.

  • What happened to Divipay? I remember using it years ago for consumer purchases, has the business model gone corporate only?

    • Currently yes DiviPay is now for Australian small businesses only.

Are the terms on this page https://divipay.com/rewards/terms the terms for this deal?

Are the AWS credits tied to your platform, or can they be on-sold by, say, me to someone else?

How long does one need to be on a Divipay plan before the credits are given?

    thanks

In my case, the AWS credits are provided by Amazon as a lump sum. They are tied to your Amazon account.

No idea about Divipay terms, but once you receive the credits they are yours to keep. In terms of AWS Activate, Divipay would be the foot in the door but then your relationship will be with AWS. You'll probably get a call from AWS every so often to see how you are going, what support you require, etc.

  • It's part of the AWS Activate program, which provides free AWS credit for growing startups.

I've done it before, and got $25,000 of AWS credit to be used in a year through an accelerator program. There weren't any strings attached. Obviously AWS are expecting that you are using the credit to build services in their environment, with the aim that that after a year you will continue to consume the credit (as your business will be up and running).

Pretty stock standard deal. You get the same deal for signing up to Airwallex, which is free.
