MLB and NBA did the same thing. I guess its a way to get hype for the new game.

You can tell that's a really old version of FIFA because there are no prompts visible to take you to the store.

Usually it is the same game every year, but this one actually added Street Style gameplay and Futsal. Worth the $7, if you haven't played FIFA in years.
2020 has been one dumpster fire of a year. Same goes for FIFA I guess?

I took Woking from the Conference to the Champions League in 6 seasons, stuff like that doesn't go unnoticed.
I mean, although it's an obvious statement to make but may be helpful to someone, the next one comes out in roughly a month and Ultimate team in FIFA 20 has already pretty much completed its yearly cycle. Not worth unless playing offline with friends.

Plenty of players still playing this online with Seasons. FUT is a rort. Playing with actual team rosters is much more enjoyable for me.
Agree. I really wish they'd get rid of FUT and allow friendly 2 v 2 matches instead of messing around trying to match up to play a match.

FIFA 20 is decent but the series is up and down. The control is better than it's predecessors and the ball acts a lot more naturally but they no longer have all the licenses and that Volta football is a bit of a laugh but it's a poor replacement for the previously great story mode.
Then there's the laziness in some of the scenes like pre and post game interviews and any negotiations where there's no voice acting and repetitive questions and answers which, in all, make almost no difference to the game.
If you're after great football game mechanics and don't care about the rest, it's worth it.
I've been playing FIFA every year for more than 10 years. This is the least fun FIFA and yet I probably going to play the next one…

Are they at least making it cheap? I think that's what PES are doing this year - releasing it at a discounted price because it's not much more than a roster update and a few minor tweaks, not a significantly changed new version.

Aussie Broadband have been giving away unlimited downloads for free between the hours of 6am-6pm ever since COVID hit hard back in March and most have been working from home. Which has been really great cos I do all my big downloads like this one during the day, and don't run out of data for when I need to do streaming at night.
