    Has anyone here used a mask with a valve and does it make a difference to say glasses not fogging up and not feeling hot under mask when walking etc? Pretty over the ones from coles and woolies but don't know about these ones

      yeah that's what i was wondering, glass fogging is an issue for me, im wondering if this would be good in in that regard

      i use a respro sportsta which has 2 valves. each valve is unfiltered (not covered by the hepa filter) but have a diaphragm cover. my glasses never fog up but perhaps that is due to the metal nose bridge keeping a tight fit. it eventually gets hot and sweaty in winter (say, after an hour). i find normal masks (coles/woolies/surgical looking masks) get hot and sweaty a lot quicker however.

      note i bought these for cycling, not for covid protection

      I have a valved mask with filter insert. No better for glasses. If you use without the filter it may be better but then of course you would be spreading Covid19 if you were positive.

      I might try it without the filter today on an exercise walk with the dog. No social interaction so I do not have to feel bad about breathing out with no filter.

      valves make no difference - glasses fogging up is due to breath escaping out of the top of a mask, which is why a mouldable nose piece can help with a tighter fit to reduce it

      which means that your price of $5 per mask is Wrong as it becomes $5.50 when try to buy it
