I bought one from a previous similar deal – great quality and helped me a lot.

    • Been using one as a wall board saw, works well

    • Yeah, I'm sure I've seen these on "clearance" before. Guess they found a few more boxes stashed somewhere…

  • Thanks op Ive ordered .

    Thanks

  • Thanks my previous hacksaw is in a sorry state and now I get three!

  • Cheers just ordered one.

Which one of these would you recommend to re-enact the scene from saw?

    • +1

Just don't cut the wrong leg off

  • +1

The smallest saw is good for cutting holes in plaster walls. I used it to add some outlets to my lounge room walls.

    • -1

Pretty sure your licensed electrician used it to add some outlets to your walls?

      • Outlets weren’t power, the were audio speaker cables

        • You can't install any cables in walls without a license, power or not. Stupid I reckon.

          • @soob: I knew you couldn't install ethernet because of telecommunications legislation, I didn't know you couldn't install audio cables. Got a link?

          • @soob:

A registered cabler must perform telecommunications, fire, security and data industries cabling.

This is the best I could find without reading too much complicated legislation. Link

I don't think speaker cables fall under any of those categories.

  • No delivery and can’t go in store because well…in vic

    • I'm in Vic too. Yesterday I purchased a mouse/keyboard combo from The Good Guys online and picked up from their delivery bay. Can't do the same with SuperCheap?

      • Depends if they have stock within 5km which I doubt. These deals only have stock in like qld or wa

  • +2

"Not stocked" in my nearest 10 stores, vic.

    • +2

      Same here

    • +1

Mine said click and collect, sent it to my sister waited about 10 mins, now showing not stocked also. Are SCA on to us?

  • +1

Also not stocked at the 5 stores closest to me. What a scam.

  • Got one - thanks OP.

  • Thanks OP, my local had them in stock for click and collect.

  • ANYONE KNOW HOW EASY THESE ARE TO DISMANTLE AND CONCEAL ON THE BODY?

ALSO, UNRELATED BUT HOW WOULD THESE CUT THROUGH STEEL BARS? ABOUT INCH THICK.

    THANKS

    • For $5 you can try and let us know.

You forgot to write "asking for a friend"

    • Just put it in your prison pocket.

      • +1

If you do, you may end up with multiple prison pockets.

    • Just wait for Sep 14 and you'll be able to visit your nominated friend

I think you're looking for a birthday cake deal to go with this

  • Anyone know how to fix the blade properly on the smallest saw so it doesn't keep popping off?

  • Hatchet is online only, and for $9.99 delivery?

  • +1

Looks like out of stock in Victoria.

  • +1

Op I get your username…. Not sure if many do!

Are these sufficient for sawing through jail bars?

  • Thanks got one from Spearwood (WA) store

  • Thanks Op. managed to get one

  • I bought this for no reason and it came in ready when I needed to cut a lock.

  • 59 upvoted in less than 3 hours means it's probably out of stock now. Good luck!

  • No stock in NSW norwest area

  • Need a cheap hacksaw, but missed out (out of stock)… oh well…

  • Bought these from the last deal. Just a precaution don't expect them to cut through metal. The teeth are fairly soft so would recommend only for plastics/wood.

Alternatively grab these and some high quality blades and you'll be right.

  • Thanks OP!

  • My order went through but the shop was out of stock :(

  • It shows “in stock”, but actually it is out of stock at most stores. I ordered one 2weeks ago, and it has been refunded 2days ago.

  • Most important design element when choosing a hacksaw is correct on this hacksaw. You want a T shape not a bow shape so that the saw doesn't get shorter as you cut. You also need somewhere to hook your thumb. Good deal.

  • Seems to be OOS SEQ

  • After not being available on any store … I was able to order online 1 set!! Will pickup from Bundall, Gold Coast
