    oh I love this case..

I just bought it now. Have seen the white one person but black is much better.

      • +1

Not White with white QL fans :)

        Stunning case.

      • Personally I prefer the white (it's what I own) but both cases are great.

Lovely looking case. Care if you are using an air cooler as this case only has 160mm of clearance and the larger air coolers (Noctua D15/D15S or be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4) will not fit.

    • Thanks for the heads up. but I will most likely be using a Corsair H150i 360mm

    • Oops 155mm just double-checked

    • +1

Yup, amazing looking case and loved the fact that power & USB are located on the front. However, that low clearance for a CPU cooler was/is a great let down :(

      • You shouldn't he using a big air cooler when you have 3 easy radiator locations… This case is so easily done for that.

        • +4

Shouldnt is quite subjective - some prefer air cooling over liquid cooling for reliability and points of failure. So best to be aware of case limitations.

          • @Ori0n: The case aesthetics are too good compared to the air version which is just fugly.

People are suggesting the XL for high end aor coolers but its twice the price at 400ish$

    • I'm using the O11 XL and Noctua D15 fits.

      • +1

Yeah the XL has 167mm clearance so that puppy is probably sitting pretty close to the glass

$209 in white @ umart also

I'm holding out for the PC-O11 Dynamic Mini they keep postponing

$217.25 Delivered at Futu eBay with PARTY21 Promotion

Also $209 Delivered at PLE Computers. In stock on 11th September if you can wait.

    • Damn I was unaware of this.

    • I am aware of this, but the shipping for those websites are so extreme for rural / country areas.

      • of course. Those are better options for people able to go there to pickup

        • I do like the Futu deal, i can't get eBay plus but.

          • +2

@Stuntdog: @BuyoTheCat is just posting so other people have the information in case they are closer for pickup - they are not having a go at you or your deal. :)

          • @Stuntdog: Yes. Sorry, I wasn’t disparaging your deal. Because of your post, I am thinking about getting it from scortec

            • @BuyoTheCat: All good it is just my first post and I I don't understand how people do things around here

  • I was going to get the MetallicGear Neo Qube. But i might get the white Lian Li from umart instead

    • Yeah i've been waiting for Gamers Nexus to post their review of the Qube. They mentioned it in a new video here https://youtu.be/TWiOZAAUZJM?t=445 but haven't gone a full review yet. He was a little upset about the obvious knock off haha.

      • Would probably perform better. The Neo Qube vents look to be a lot more open than the O11. Better bottom filter that's also on rails make maintenance a bit easier too.

That said, I think it's pretty poor form of Phanteks/MetallicGear to rip it off so blatantly, to the point where it even has the same clearance issues as the O11.

  • Dumb question - but what is the risk if you don't take shipping insurance? I would have thought if goods you order turn up damaged, surely you'd have a claim against someone (either the retailer or the courier service/Aus post?)

    • Personally I don't know. The even dumber thing is it's $3 more for me without insurance

    • +2

Auspost coverage is $50 unless insured.
All operators basically say tough luck
But yes I agree it feels as though it should be challenged in court "service not provided - direct loss incurred".. imho all parcels should be tracked and insured as mandatory postage service.

If you pay with paypal, you'll be able to claim though.

  • I got mine from U-Mart for the same price but in black and its amazing. Im just waiting for 3 more QL120
fans and then my first build will be complete.

    • Are there any other fans except for the QL 120 that don't have the ugly stickers on the back.

      • From what i found from research. No. QL120s are best looking. Downfall is that they are capped at 1500rpm so if you need some good air, these arent the ones. Also if you plan on getting more then 6 you'll need a commander pro as well as Node

    • Could I please know what you're cooling set-up is for the system? Thinking of using this case for a build and want to figure out how much I should be budgeting for a air cooled system!

      • +1

You need 6 or 9 120mm. It's also a visual thing though really.

Top exhaust, side and bottom intake

      • +1

I have my CPU radiator and 3 Corsair LL 120mm fans. Fantastic case.

  • +3

I have the dynamic and dynamic XL. Both white.

Get the XL if you can. Better entry (more refined). Better space (albeit bigger anyway, of course). Better cable management.

Get the rear distro plate for the dynamic of you’re water cooling - looks awesome.
The side distro plate for the xl - ok but not great. Next time I’d likely get the same rear one for the XL. You lose one rad slot - but you don’t need it.

The xl “built in” v-gpu slot is a gimmick. You need aftermarket.
Get the Corsair v-gpu mount - 10x better than Lian Li’s; twice as good as the phanteks.

If you v mount the gpu… make sure the board can force pcie3… there is a cable length limit between the gpu and whatever lane / gate it needs to connect to…

    Awesome cases.
In reality the price doesn’t matter.

Just a heads up. The new Nvidia cards may be a VERY tight fit against the glass here, The XL which I'm using will hopefully be OK.

    • +1

If you're speaking about the founder's edition supposedly we are not even getting them in Australia. Only third party vendors.

      • We are not getting founders edition in AU???

        • +4

Apparently not it was confirmed on their Facebook as I quote from NVIDIA GeForce Australia & New Zealand Facebook page
"Hi Caleb At this time Founders Edition GPUs are not available in Australia, however there will be a wide range of models from our partners at launch for the 3090, 3080 and 3070 GPUs."

        • +1

Looks like we are getting those founders editions after all.

      • No. Just a general thing

    • +1

According to Lian Li Website the Graphics Card length and height should be: length ≤420mm , width ≤159mm

According to Nvidia Website 3080 card dimensions are: Length - 285mm, width 112mm

Even the 3090 has a length of 313mm and width of 138mm.

Either Card should fit fine in this case. Should have around 20mm clearance even with the biggest card. However, this is taking into account measurement for founders cards, other cards may be bigger/smaller in size.

      • Does that include radiator fitted to side?

      • +2

Cables need to be plugged in too…. They add to the height of the card

        Length isn't the issue.

AIB models are around 14cm too, some bigger. No pt referring to FE models.

  • +1

Love the look of this case. But needing to add some fans, ill just go with the lancool mesh for 100 less all up.

  • Still waiting for the O11D Mini…….

  • Damn for the price i would of thought you'd get some fans lol…

    • Nope

    • I'd rather save a few $ and use my own choice of fans

    $205.19 Delivered @ PB Tech

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/564470

  • this case is awesome. so much room, building in it is a dream.

  • Gets a +1 for actually having USB-C on the case in 2020. Still seems like a luxury feature for many manufacturers.

  • Why's Razer edition still at 300 mark? Have my eye on that case.

    • I have a 90% finished build with the Razer version of this, only thing that I haven't added is the graphics card (holding out for the 3000 series). It's completely unused and just sitting around, and I was thinking of doing an ITX build instead. If you're interested I'd be willing to sell it

  • Been looking at this case for my next build. Does anyone know if I buy one of the distro blocks/plate advertised for this case does that mean my cpu block and potentially GPU block would line up with the holes in the distro plate. Meaning if doing hard tubing I'd only need one bend most likely.

    • Oh man I shouldn't have looked, some of those builds look amazing

The CPU will be easy, one bend and then just rotate it to line up with the distro plate. GPU should be one bend as long as you use the second slot down and the waterblock is a standard thickness.
