Was searching for a PDF editor and stumbled across this. Not sure about the original RRP of $299.95….. free is certainly better.

You'll need a Microsoft account in order to download this, I used Outlook.

Description:

Free with horrid ads in there, $7.45 to remove ads.

Already downloaded, opened and deleted. Not worth it IMO.

        What about Firefox, Signal?

        • +3

Firefox gets paid when Google and MS compete for a space in their browser default search bar.

        • +2

Signal is an NSA app to make you think your messages to all your dealer friends are encrypted but it's actually an NSA backdoor.

      • Soon it'll be "We don't care, you're the product regardless".

Not worth the download after reading the reviews

    • Where did you read the reviews?

If you need a good free PDF editor, look at the PDF Xchange Editor

Even the free version is pretty capable, but you can unlock advanced features if you really need them (no ads in the free version either).

Meanwhile, issues with the product, neg.

    • Thanks.. PDF Xchange looks promising.

    • +1

Need free PDF editor but free version of Xchange Editor has demo stamp on every page when combining files into single PDF. Trial version of PhantomPDF doesn’t have demo stamps at least. Xchange Editor is not free if using the advanced feature.

      • +1

If combining/splitting pdfs is all you need, go for PDFTK Builder. Open source and free. Description from their site.

Open source freeware - no nags, no ads, and no bundled junk. Take control of your PDF documents - merge or split pages; stamp pages or add background watermarks; add page numbers; and even rotate pages.

There is also a portable version

    • +1

Agreed - jumped onto PDF Xchange as it offers perpetual license and the software has worked well for me.

  • +13

LibreOffice Draw can also edit PDFs and it is free, without any ads

    • Thanks, bloke. Love it.

Dont bother, the UI looks like a university programming project.

299.95 original price comes with ad? You gotta be kidding

    • Haha really? Crazy.

    • +2

Par for the course for any UWP Windows store app.

  • +1

Don't waste your time. Issue is not just the UI, you actually need to pay to be able to use it properly. Uninstalled immediately.

  • +3

    Can anyone ask the developer

    R U OK?

  • Downloaded it. Yes, there are ads no the top bar of the app. Haven't used it yet properly but looks OK. Thanks for the freebie.

  • Too many ads

    • +1

      I bought BRN @ 0.95 yesterday :(

  • +5

Installed, Paid the $7.45 to remove the adds / watermark and all it can do is annotate not edit. Uninstalled.

    • +2

      Refund?

  • Soooo many ads

  • +1

    All hail Adobe Acrobat

  • +2

I paid $299.99 for this just yesterday. Spewing! =p

  • +2

Not sure if I'll ever use it, but will keep it just like my 400+ Coursera & Udemy courses just in case of doomsday. Thanks OP!

  • +2

$299.95 and suddenly free. RRP made out of thin air.

  • +3

    Spam

  • "EDIT EVERY ELEMENT of your PDF file". NO

  • +1

    thanks OP, needed this.

  • +2

Way too many ads to be paying $300. Even considering it's free at the moment, there's better alternatives out there

    • +1

      Alternate suggestion?

  • +1

Sometimes the privacy concerns make me laugh. You know that if someone wants to know about you they can find a lot on you from your rubbish. Eg if you are single or if your gf is pregnant. Forget the nsa. 😊

    • Some users get to laugh at how off-base their algorithms can be sometimes. All the ones tracking me either think I'm a bloke or an incontinent geriatric or a tween.

  • +1

I have downloaded it, thank you so much. I will try for few months because its free with all bells and whistles. Yes ads are there but I dont click on them. Think about productivity. you will continue to drive with few speed breakers.

  • +1

$300 for a pdf editor with ads. Pay an additional $7 per month to remove ads. Riiiiiiiiiight.

Nice find though, OP. Not your fault!

  • What's the best free/cheap PDF editor?

  • Is this only for Windows 10?

  • how does this compare to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC which cost around $270 PER YEAR!?

  • -1

Ah Shikes I paid $299 for this yesterday. :(

I will sell it for $150 or the highest bidder.

  • Comes with Ad and watermark. No deal

  • +1

"YES, YOU CAN EDIT A PDF YOURSELF
There is no need to hire a designer or buy expensive software"

    Sells it for $299.95

  • What the other guys said

  • $299.95 and that's too fishy

  • wanted to convert PDF to Word and it asked me to pay US$6 to unlock this feature.

  • If you want something free go to

It's quite new, but the developers are always happy to add new features… and for now it's all FREE!!!!!!
