Thought I'd flag that pre orders are now up. Yes, it is RRP, but I know people have gone bananas for this in the past.
I personally found Animal Crossing to be more boring than my own actual life in Melbourne this year, but know people have loved it!

I've successfully cancelled a preorder with EB Games before. I just contacted their support staff and they refunded my deposit.
Yeah I cancelled my pre order for a couple of games without problems so i dont see why you cant for this.

Animal crossing was only a hit because of lockdown. And currently only Vic is in lockdown…. Therefore once lockdown is passed the game will no longer be a hit
Prices for switch will also come down

I have to ask, and totally not in context of this deal, but does anyone else find ebgames a massive ripoff? I've always found their prices to be hugely inflated and they've refused to price match with JBHifi in the past with me.
Honestly, EB Games is my last choice after JB, Amazon, Target, Big W etc. I just shop with EB for the preorders when everywhere sold out or when odd bargains can be found in their shops. I don’t like how they sell preowned games as new. Their gaming merchandise are way too inflated.

Can’t help but feel that you were sent here by the RTX 3080 post to spread some negativity despite it being long after the deal has 1. Sold out, and 2. Was on the front page.
I respect your neg though, and agree RRP isn’t a bargain, but I think I made some people happy by putting this post up, and heck, I even considered buying a 3080 off that other deal so I thank that person too.
As much as I do not need an unit myself as I have already own one, I appreciate for your effort of posting this deal.
If it not for the amazing posters here I wouldn’t have got mine from a previous deal.
