I have some of these already, they are good and reliable, not quite as fast as the Sandisk Extreme Pro (~300 mb/s) which are triple the cost. These are good for 4K video recording or fast frame rate photography (~10 fps). You won't find this spec of card any cheaper, these normally go for $65 - $90.

    The resolution and fps is not important. What bitrate are you recording at? Does your camera support UHS-II? The only benefit of the card listed by the OP is if you have a camera that supprots UHS-II, and even then it would benefit burst stills more so than video.

      I'm looking to use it on my Nikon Z50 which does 144 Mbps max on 4k30.

      Edit: Oops the Z50 only supports UHS-I. Thanks for the info though

        144Mbps is only 18 MBps in any case. Just pick up any U3 card and you can record 4k30 on the Z50 no problem.

      In fact, the write speed on these cards is only about the same as regular UHS-I cards (even though they are UHS-II type), so the only tangible benefits are the V60 classification stamp if you need it (upcoming A7S III) and the boosted READ speed for copying files off the card later (think large amounts of video and stills). The read speed is the only thing that actually makes use of the UHS-II pins, and maybe the the V60 designation also requires the extra row of pins for the camera to detect, but i'm not sure on that last bit.

      TLDR these are a good price for a solid brand, and I bought a couple for the backup slots in my sony cameras. As always, rigorously test the write and read speeds, and capacity of the cards when you receive them in case they are fake.

        Update: I just cancelled the order I placed for these cards an hour ago. After doing more research, it seems the Lexar brand was sold off to a Chinese company who is now flogging really low quality memory. After going through multiple sites, they were all riddled with reviews of the cards seeming to work and then popping up random write and read errors, with horror stories of corrupted footage and photos. Not worth the risk to save $30 or so per card (in my opinion).

  But read and write speed is not as good and a few reviews note issues with the card after a bit of use.

  Actually Sandisk Extreme Pro is cheaper, but reads up to 170MB/s and writes up to 90MB/s only.

    totally different product. MicroSD is not a replacement for SD (card contact issues in adapters) and those cards are only V30 so will not work in devices that require V60 designation. also slower read speed as you mentioned.

      Maybe I’m not fully understanding it but what good is a fast read speed if wrote speed is average. I shoot 7 exp brackets all day and I want to view the results immediately without any lag. I just bought the eos r and that does some crazy 480 bit video so it’s all about wrote speed right? I have the lexar 1800x cards and I’m still looking for faster write speed.
