  • Why is your product 25% more expensive than your competition?

  • Pretty sure ive seen cheaper on Ebay for a Renogy 100ah..

Cant see any there at the moment.. maybe OOS.

Hi,I'm so sorry that this is the first time for me to send product information on it, and I am not familiar with it.
The product that is Renogy 100Ah 12V Smart Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery 4WD RV Solar 12 Volt Deep Cycle Battery with BMS, 4000 Cycles, Lightweight, Compact is in stock.

      • Hi,I'm so sorry that this is the first time for me to send product information on it, and I am not familiar with it.

Maybe don't post your spam here then? This is a bargain site, not a free advertisement site.

  • Thank you for posting Judy, but this is an Australian website for discounted products.

If a person can find it or an equivalent cheaper using Google, then it will get negative comments

      Thanks for your message!
This battery is the lowest price we can offer at the moment, and the Christmas projector is free.
Next time we will try to offer better and cheaper products.

  • Whats the usual price? How is this a bargain? Looks like an ad.

  • What are the warranty details - not just the years, but how do you deal with warranty claims?
    What cells do you use?
What was the date of manufacture?

This guy was impressed. Uses pouch cells, and can't be serial connected, unlike most competitors.

    • Their products seem OK, and seem to be a well known brand, but check their facebook page for comments on after sales service. I tried to contact them with a few questions on their products via email & FB messenger, but no response. there is no Aus phone number on their website either.

We are so sorry that we did not reply to your message in time in the past. You can send a message to us through Amazon Renogy, Ebay Renogy or the official website, and we will reply in time.

Hi,The warranty of this battery is 5-year prorated warranty. We can arrange replacement due to the quality reason of the product.
      We use prismatic cell..
The batteries were made three or four months ago

      • Thanks Judy

So this is a totally different battery from the one in the video review I posted?

What do you mean by pro-rata warranty exactly? There must be a minimum full replace or repair warranty as a base warranty with pro-rata on top? Industry standard is about 3 years and this is what I'd use as a statutory warranty period if I needed to.

        I'm in the market.

Edit: where is your shop located? I can't find any contact or business details (eg ABN etc) which doesn't instill confidence.

Hi,Our battery is the same as the battery on the video. The link below the YouTube video is from the US website and Amazon. You can find our bettery in Amazon Australia,Ebay Australia or au.renogy.com

          • @Judy Yan: Okay so the cells are NOT prismatic but are pouch.

No business contact and warranty info?

@Possumbly: You can contact us by email and our warranty of this battery is 5-year prorated warranty.
Here is the manual of this battery:https://www.renogy.com/content/RBT100LFP12S-G1/LFP100S-Manual.pdf
Here is the warranty info of this battery:https://www.renogy.com/content/files/Manuals/Warranty.pdf
This warranty information is the same as our US Renogy website.

              • @Judy Yan: Thanks. Was in the process of replying with this:

Found the US warranty document. 12 months full warranty (pathetic), thereafter pro-rated it seems. No info on how to return and with no Au business details (not even the essential ABN) provided this is a case of caveat emptor and fingers crossed.

Looks like a good product but not for me when there are decent Au companies with b&m HQs and physical retailers out there already.

                  @Possumbly: Hi,
It's on page seven of that PDF. It's in line 6 of the table and shows "LFP Batteries **5-year prorated warranty".The product is RBT100LFP12S-G1. Please check it.

                  • @Judy Yan: Saw that. The pro-rata formula was explained in section 2.

                    Time …………………..Charge for Replacement
                    0-12 Months………… No Charge
After 12 Months……..Original Purchase Price × (1 - Remaining Warranty Period (in Months)/Total Warranty Period (in Months)

All moot given the lack of return details and other significant issues.

  • Not a bargain - Has been $699 previously which is still not tempting enough
