  • I can't find the price per Kg (only per serving which doesn't mean much…). Can you help?

Edit. Ok I found the weight per serving

  • Yup no worries.

Did you have any questions I can help with?

Very interested in your feedback whether interested or not 😊

    Cheers,

  • Site doesn't seem to say that Pork or Chicken is organic. Only states Beef is organic.
Is the Chicken and Pork Organic?

    Edit:Grammar

  • Thanks for reaching out,

Yes our pork is 100% grass-fed organic. Our chicken is natural grain-fed, cage-free, restaurant-grade meat, I personally highly recommend it even though not technically "organic".

Don't hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions!

  • And the site says "Approx" X grams per serving. What is the minimum guaranteed weight per cut type per serving?

  • Hi again,

We're usually more generous than the stated approx weights, as such you can treat those weights as the guaranteed minimum.

    Thanks!

Beef and lamb are not good for the environment. They have a very large carbon footprint

  • So really its about $36/kg for the steaks @300g/each. Say 7 servings.

Not bad if its of good quality and U say organic grown.

  • Yes it really is fantastic quality meat, and cheaper than a local butcher

The vacuum sealing also allows for much longer refrigeration 👍!

  • Thought I would give some feedback as I have been ordering online for our meat the last four months and was interested to compare value. I tend to use Camerons sutton forest sales here and try to bulk buy and freeze to maximise savings. I compared your most cost effective box (premium cuts x3) to what I would normally order and I found you to be about 15% more expensive by weight and hold a smaller selection of cuts. Mostly steaks, mince and chicken which is great for singles/couples but would get boring quick for our family.
In saying that, If you were to put up a mixed box with a selection of everything that you offer, for a sharp price I would consider giving it a go. At this stage the value is better elsewhere for me for what I presume to be a similar quality product.

    • Hi again, would love to ask you 2 questions about your experience with other online meat services. Would it be ok to PM you 🙂?

      • Yea mate no problem.

        • hey mate, hope you had a great weekend! Looks like your profile doesn't accept new messages, would you mind PMing me?

    • Agree with what you said. Gotta be competitive in price and quality.

      • Thanks for the feedback! If you don't mind, would also really appreciate asking you 2 questions about your experience with other online meat services. Would it be ok to PM you 🙂?

  • That is great feedback, thanks for taking the time! We're constantly reviewing our box options, and this is quite helpful.

Would appreciate all brutally honest feedback from others also - feel free to PM me if preferred 👍

  • Is this a restaurant that has now ventured off to delivering meat?

Which farms are the meat from?

  • Hey there, no not a restaurant, though we do supply plenty.

We work exclusively with Victorian based meat producers 🙂

  • +2

    Just had delivery today.
OP's comment above: "We're usually more generous than the stated approx weights, as such you can treat those weights as the guaranteed minimum.

    This is not the case.
    * Even with the packing included it is still short on the expected weight.
    * Mince turned up frozen.
    * Packages were labeled incorrectly, I.e. pork was labled eye fillet.
    * One serve of Porterhouse was cut in a significant wedge across the thickness. So I dont expect to be able to get a consistant cook for that piece. Would not call this restaurant quality at all.
    * One of the serves of chicken breast seems to have been beaten up and looked more like a thigh with an incorrect label. Again, could not be served 'as is' in a restaurant.

7.4kg expected net (Double Box ordered)
and we have received 7.327kg including packaging.
I haven't opened the packaging on anything yet, but expect it to be at least 10 grams, and across 26 individual packages, thats min 260gms lost.
I.e. Best case scenario is 7.4kg expected, 7.067kg received.

Sending an email to them to see what they are going to do about it.

Will update if I get a response.
At this stage, I expect I will be cancelling…

    Edit: Spelling and Grammar

    • Hi there, sincerest apologies once again for the issue with your order.

As mentioned this is definitely not the typical experience of our customers, and you should have an email offering a refund as an apology for the approx. 5% underweight and dissatisfaction with the serve of porterhouse, chicken breast, and mince.

Please do let us know if you are still unsatisfied with our attempt to rectify the situation, very willing to work with you to make the situation right 🙂

      Thank you
