  • What cups are they using that only hold 500ml combined…?

    • Seems to be 120ml or so for a "cup". In Europe coffee cups are quite small compared what we would generally expect here in Aus.

I have an Avanti "6 cup" plunger unit I use at home for myself. I usually load up about 200ml for a cup. I did buy the one listed above as I wanted a Coffee Plunger at work. The size is around 500ml, so could make more like up to 2-3 good cups of coffee based on my needs. All depends on your preference and if you add milk which I dont.

    • Apparently it's some random unit thing for coffee.

Glass ones are so delicate, I bought a metal one a few years back and never looked back. Expensive up front, but at least I'm not replacing it often like I was with glass ones

  • Just don't think you're going to get 500ml in there. The 1 litre one holds about 900ml.

Use the James Hoffman method for great taste. Or buy a Clever Coffee Dripper and don't accidentally knock it over like I did this morning. Now my kitchen smells like coffee.

So there's a silver lining, then?
