  • Good price, but I'd rather u spend $20 more for the 1GB GT520 !

  • no hdmi, would have been a good htpc card

    • DVI to HDMI cable, however, yeah, have to run seperate sound.

+12 bux shipping… guess even with post its decent.

DVI-I to HDMI on a 9800gt allowed me to play sound through my Bravia's built in speakers. Assuming its using a DVI-I output as well (considering they were around the same era) it should carry sound also provided your motherboard supports the graphic card carrying sound the card should be able to run sound with video over HDMI.

        • yeah thought of that, however i didnt think it was that common.

    • thats why i said GT520, its got lower watts, HDMI and more ! read up people !!!

  • good for cluster of bitcoin miners?!

    • 10.8 M/hash per second! Probably not, unless a very cheap motherboard can be found.

  • Only DDR2, I don't think it's useful.

  • This card is only good for browsing the web.

  • There are a lot of fanless 220 cards around, why would you buy one that will probably stop working in 12 months when the sleeve bearing fan dies.

$12 shipping for me otherwise i'd be all over this!

  • Hey rep, could you please let us know if you have any deals on low-profile cards (for the HP microserver)? Thanks

    • I got a 1G 6570 ASUS LP card for my HP for about $85 from msy. 2x faster than this card.

  • $22 shipping = one of the reasons why I hope PCCG will eventually open up shop here in Sydney!

    • $22 + shipping?
      or did you mean
      $12 shipping?

  • -5

Unless you can pick it up from Monday to Friday @VIC (which i dont think most of you can), this is a bad price with that $12 shipping cost. PCCG is just another online shop which tries to make hidden profit from shipping, I would rather invest that $12 on a better video card from MSY or Centrecom etc.

    Going to Neg it.

    • What an unfair neg…

How about you tell us how YOU can send a carton that size for $12, including handling costs.

    • trust me you wouldn't want to pick up from these guys
they live in the middle of no where and it's a warehouse
petrol wise and all will cost more than $12

you would rather ship from these guys

      and pccasegear do fast shipping

    • It's unfair for you but fair for me because I have all these local shops around me and I simply will not put $12 for shipping a budget video card. When you look at a deal you have to justify the total cost instead of the $22 label. Just like you can buy a lot of goods from U.S with a much lower price tag but big shipping cost, would you recommend those deals to other people?

The cheapest on Static Ice is $36… This item plus postage is $34.

      • yeah see my comment above, +12 shipping but even then its a decent price for this card…

    • Their shipping is by Air Express which is insanely fast. It may be relatively expensive to regular shipping but you'll always get your goods really quick.

  • anyone know if you can remove the bracket and use it as a low profile card… not sure if it will fit.. as it looks slightly higer than half height still…

    • FYI just rang them, guy rekons it looks a bit big for a half height card… back to the drawing board!

  • G'day guys
Would this be able to play Bf3,CoD mw3 and Skyrim at FULL RES SETTINGS???

    THANKS GUYS
