Purchased an 970 EVO Plus a couple of days ago, but I think this another one that was on my radar. Very good price for a very fast drive.

This is better than the A2000 in a few cases such as read/write however the A2000 is significantly cheaper. Depending on your use case however the A2000 would be good enough for 95% of people. See techpowerup reviews here:
Crucial P5: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/crucial-p5-1tb-m-2-nvme-s…
Kingston A2000: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/kingston-a2000-1-tb-m-2-n…
That review says that the Crucial P5 matches the Kingston A2000. That is a pretty poor review for an NVMe SSD that is meant to be fast.

Thanks for that, i really appreciate it.

ahh… cant believe the A2K question was asked before i got in…
dang it!
Kingston about 4% faster… so, not much.

This or the Samsung 970 EVO Plus for 260.10 (after the voucher) with $46 cashback from Samsung (making it 214.10)? Very similar price - just with annoying cashback.

Personally, Samsung for reliability, Even though the 970 Evo Plus is not the fastest drive out there.

Go pcie 4.0 for this money

Paid $235 for this just a few days ago…
