Saw this on Big W home page - Get $20 Zip credit on shopping of $50 or more and using Zip payment method.
Expires 24-Sep. Couldn't find any more information on T&Cs. This is similar to credit at Chemist Warehouse, Pizza Hut etc.
(maybe just once per Zip account instead of 3 times like Pizza Hut). Will go nicely with the Toy sale.

Edit - New expiry date of 24 Sep (credit @xiangtan)

Edit - T&Cs now updated on BigW site - https://www.bigw.com.au/zip

Signed up with Zip pay after seeing many credit offers offlate.
Used a referral link and the signup process is terrible. Their website go in loops and have received more than a 100 verification messages. After spending hours, I was able to sign up successfully. Looking forward for my first transaction at BigW.

Signed up with my Mrs details and have been rejected. She has got "Excellent" Credit score, not sure how their approval process works.

That's strange, I thought pretty much anybody with a reasonable credit history could get this.
Maybe they objected to two applications from the same address in a short space of time

      • Could be the case

  • was anyone sucessful using zip at the self serve>? i tried but couldn't find the zip option maybe because i choose split payment to pay the amount over $50 with a gift card and zip maybe doesnt allow it has to be full amount? anyway had to go to line up at a check out to use zip.

When I was using Self service the option did come up when you select other payment (or something like that). It shows up on the Pin pad.

It is in for those who made the purchase on the 17th.

Haha, you will probably laugh at what model I got, and I'm not yet a senior although at 52 well on the way.

I got a Telstra Prepaid Zip 3 semi dumb Flip phone on sale for $89 - $20 rebate = $69 mainly for the external antenna option

as I sometimes travel/live in bad/no reception areas. I have too many smartphones already, but this will come in handy though.

It's a ZTE Z2335T http://www.ztemobiles.com.au/Z2335T.htm, but I doubt kids will like that phone lol.

  • If the Zip credit is available in Zip can it be used to pay back remaining money owed?

    • +1

Not 100% sure what you mean, but the credit is taken off the money you owe to zip.

    • +1

I would suggest calling their customer service regarding this.

    • +1

Yes, the same as AmEx statement credits offers.

  • I was wondering if the $50 or more is the total bigw order or a single item has to be $50?

    • +2

Clearly mentioned in T&C - "The offer can be redeemed on one purchase only and the purchase must be $50 AUD or more"

    Great Deal👍
Received $10 credit for joining Zip, $20 credit for the $50 spend, and 2000 bonus points ($10CR) from Rewards.

Also received 1000 bonus points ($5CR) from Rewards for adding my Rewards card to Rewards App & spending a min of 5c!

So $50 spend effectively cost $5!
