Ordered the 16 GB kit for $109.78 this morning. AmazonUK via AmazonAU like OP.

Had it ordered through AmazonUS for $118 ~1.5 weeks ago but it hadn't shipped yet so I canned that order.

Awesome price for Rev. E chips

    • Ist Rev E good? Thanks

      • +1

Yep, fantastic for overclocking and great value

        • Is it better than Samsung B die? Cause I just got a Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32Gb with b die for less than $200 recently

          • @ln28909: "Better" can be subjective. Personally I'd say it's better value.

What speed & timings are running on the kit you got?

            • @bopter12: Just running stock 3200 CL16 atm, but will try to overclock soon when I have time

              • @ln28909: if its got ver 4.32 on the stickers you're in for a nasty surprise.

i have 4x 3600MT's of these running on MSI B450 Mortar Titanium with a 3700X
I just enabled XMP and its been rock solid.. Memory scores are crazy good..

    • I ordered this back on 1st September via Amazon US… still hasn't shipped. I might reorder from here too and hope Amazon UK is better… saves me a few bucks as well.

      • +1

Based on my experience, Amazon UK is much faster than the US counterparts. But I still prefer the US for easy return here in Australia.

        • Oh returns are more difficult/not possible with Amazon UK?

          • +4

@Jorgonaut: Amazon UK you need to send it back yourself using Auspost or other courier and then you have to fill up custom form, pay for the postage. They will reimburse you though for the postage and any postage difference if you pay more than Amazon’s allowance.

Amazon US just print the return postage and drop it at any Parcelpoints location. No hassle and no need to pay.

One more plus for UK is they send the parcel with auspost express post when they arrive here in Australia.

  • Thanks OP, I have been eyeing for this black version - purchased!

    • Have your order been shipped? I ordered mine on 17th but still hasn't been shipped.

      • Ordered the white one on 15th just got it yesterday.

  • Thanks OP.

  • Wondering if upcoming Zen 3 processor will benefit more using 3600 than 3200 memory.

  • This is meant to be 3600Mhz, not MT, right?

    • +1

      same same

    • +1

I think technically all RAM listings should be MT and not MHz?

      https://www.techsiting.com/mt-s-vs-mhz/#:~:text=The%20Differ….

    • +1

MT/s is the more 'correct' way of representing the memory speeds, but it's generally interchangeable with MHz

    • If you head over to the Amazon webpage, the RAM frequency is 3600MHz. So, MT/s is referring to memory timing, so more to do with CL16, but hasn't been spelled out.

  • Timings are 16-18-18-38.. didn't see it on the page. Just saving people from having to look it up on manufacturer's website.

  • 32gb with rgb is only around $270-$280 from Amz

    • the RGB colour change effect isn't very good on these. I just leave mine sitting on pure white or leave them off.

  • What's the difference between this RAM and the one posted on ozbargain not so long ago (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/562750) is it worth the $75 difference?

    • The timings look the same on the deal you linked to but the frequency is faster on this deal.

3600MT/s here versus 3200MT/s on previous deal.

I'll leave it to others to advise you if that's worth the extra $$.

    • if you have intel processor probably not worth

    • Generally, no, unless you really cannot get over those bling bling reviews telling you DDR4-3600 is the sweet spot for Ryzen 3xxx series.

But, if you have RTX 2080 Ti, or RTX 3080, and want to squeeze out every possible fps, then $75 is nothing.

  • i want these but theyre slightly too high to fit under my cpu cooler. only ones i can find that fit are the corsair lpx. i wonder if you can take the heatsink off these?

    • NH-D15? I'm sort of worried about that too, but will have to find out when the RAM gets here

      • After much internet searching far and wide, I believe this ram has a 32.5mm installed height. I'm going a small cooler, black ridge, only has 33mm of ram clearance. So this ram will just fit. Should be possible in yours as well

  • Can it reach 4000mhz?

    • yeah, but you might need to change the memory timing. Also, make sure infinity fabric speed lock is available on your BIOS.

  • Great, good for my nzxt h1 build. Thanks mate.

  • Thanks OP, been waiting for the white one to get cheaper.

  • +1

Black is no longer $221, white still available.

    • +2

Still $221, just need to change the seller to Amazon UK

      • Yep, you're right. Thanks for that.

      • Thank you, I was also confused by that caveat

  • My status is still sitting on "Ordered", not shipped yet. Anyone else?
