    • +1

      • Is that early termination inclusive of the first month service at $99?

        • +1

      In description

      • +6

My bad. Didn’t know the acronym and no $ sign threw me off

  • +1

if you were on $99 a month plan wouldnt you get a better phone?

    • -2

over 12 months? i think you would struggle to find a better deal.

      • -1

        still a $1200 phone after 12 months

        • +1

Your getting data as well, but if I was getting this, I would cancel instantly after getting the phone

  • +3

Mmm isn't this already around 600? Not worth the credit check to get this imo

If it was on the 65 plan then it would be a great

    • Dodgy store.

  • +3

I'm afraid these $99 plans mean the end of the great 12m deals on the $65 and $45 plans (TGG/JB). A real shame, as I assume no one (on Ozbargain) would want to pay $99/month for a phone plan so these must all go down the route of ETC.

    • +1

If everyone goes down that route and their retention is bad, maybe they will go back to the lower price?

    • +1

They are begging people to cancel. Just wasting their own time really.

  • Can you port in from Boost Prepaid?

My wife has an iPhone 7 on prepaid and was thinking about getting a newer phone.

    • You can port in but you won't get this deal

OP "Offer not available for existing Boost, Belong and Telstra Pre-Paid customers."

  • What dont I understand?

Its says 150Gb Plan but the terms also state

To be eligible, new and port in customers must bring their mobile number to Telstra and sign up to the $99 30GB Per Month Plan over 12 months plan with a minimum cost of $1188 over 12 months to receive one and only one iPhone SE 64GB (MX9R2X/A, MX9T2X/A, MX9U2X/A)

Is this someone at Goodguys just doing a bad cut and past from past promos. And where did they cut and past wrong?

    So is it

    30Gb PM = 360Gb a Year
    Or is it 150Gb a month? = 1800Gb a year

    • I'd bet it's careless copy-pasting.

    • +1

      Its 150gb per month.

  • +5

If you are after just the phone, then you can try Vodafone - it's cheaper plus you get 128 GB option as well-

  • That's a good deal, not the cheapest but outright is $749, so not bad for basically $20 a month you can use as internet sim in a smart modem or equivalent and the phone is interest free, and its just 12 months
