Here's how allocation works:

  • Limited quantity of Gigabyte Eagle OC cards arriving in September (scheduled for next week)
  • Limited quantity of Gigabyte Gaming OC cards arriving in September (scheduled for next week)
  • More stock is arriving in October for both. Once the "September" cards in the Graphics Card section are marked as sold out on the website, you can purchase the October variants, and your system will ship as soon as they come in.

It is strictly first come, best dressed, no holdsies.

    Hey Luke, received my PC. Packaging kept it safe travelling interstate - thank you. Having an issue with the WiFi that I can't lock down. I'll email you on this.

    Also, just wanted to mention that I was not asked to sign for my computer and the delivery guy left it (wrong way up even there is clearly a sign on it!) on my doorstep and took off. Lucky I was home because it would have been clear to anyone walking by what it was given the box is the case box. You may want to look into that with AusPost.

      • Appreciate that, but if it gets stolen not only is it obviously inconvenient but it raises the question of insurance, replacement, accountability etc.

        • Yep, I get it. We are but one in a very very large pool of AusPost customers, so there's only so far our feedback goes up the chain.

    Pc arrived yesterday. Similar issue with courier not knocking, and still left the pc on doorstep. Thankfully was home.

    The build is pretty good, kinda sad though to get allied ram with no heatsinks after seeing many others get branded ram, even rgb. Does the job i suppose.

    Pretty pissed off that I was told my card would definitely be arriving this week after providing my order number in an email, and then find out that you only received cards to honour orders up until the day before mine was placed. Hope you find a way to ship mine asap!…

  • Order 24/09 8pm November Eagle. Received notification yesterday from Auspost that it's being prepared.

    This morning, it's on its way.

    • I've received my case Package on Saturday, wanted to installed my extra HDD but the spare SATA cable was not in there. Mobo box arrived on Tuesday, and HDD installed and everything is working. Thanks!

      Like some other have commented, my Case parcel and Mobo box was just left at the door.

      So… how do I claim the free games? Do I need an amended invoice?

          UPDATE: I had a nice long talk with a representative and they helped me sort this out. I understand this was a genuine error and it is unfortunate that it happened to me (I'm like a magnet to these things I swear) but at least the rep was extremely nice and helped me sort it out. I am waiting for my correct order and let's see how it goes from there.

          • @luketechfast: Did a little bit of research on the allied ram and it turns out micron dyes are used which are highly regarded. Aesthetics and brand aside, the ram runs fine and is 3200mhz CL16 as well.

  • Well.. my system won't event post a signal to my monitor to get to the bios. I have tried everything. Reseated the GPU, reseated the ram, tried 1 ram each time, tried the other PCIE slot for the GPU. Nothing. I am so frustrated, I literally don't know what else to do.

              • @cheapaschips: Yeah no good..I think the GPU was/is DOA… I've had a quick chat with Luke and am awaiting a reply from the support team. Lucky I have a 1070 to tide me over while this gets resolved.

  • I've had my system for about two weeks now and I have no complaints whatsoever.

    Readjusted a lot of things. Got a new sata, completely changed the ram kit.

    Pretty happy with everything overall.

    P.S. Cyberpunk optimisation is (profanity) garbage so honestly it's probably better to wait a month or so to fully experience everything after the initial outburst forces a fixing patch or something. That being said, the actual game is not too bad, I'm getting around 84fps on full ultra and max rt on 1440p.

    • What made you change the sata HDD and ram kit?

      • My apologies when I said I got a new sata I meant I hooked up another 1tb SATA SSD to it. (An 860 Evo, I had one lying around from my PS4)

        Changed the ram kit because I got 4 sticks of 8gb Corsair Vengeance pro 3200mhz 16cl for free through a mate and loved the rgb on them. But the allied ram I got on the PC worked just fine.

        I used the PC just how it was shipped for around 2 days and had no problems whatsoever.

    I've got a corsair pair I could either switch in, or just sell with my old PC

    if its neglible I won't bother, don't care too much about brand/aesthestics really

    • They have the same specs, just aesthetics wise, one might suit your liking.

    Hi TechFast, I think my gigabyte gaming oc 3080 is faulty as I can’t turn on my the pc. I have tried using my other gpu that I have inside the system and it turns on. What should I do?

      Computer turns on without the 3080, but when I insert the 3080 in, the pc doesn’t boot up.

      • Currently in the process of shipping the faulty card back to Techfast. I would like to give a shout-out to Luke and the TechFast support team for guiding me in diagnosing the problem through email and also via call.

    Anyon else found that precision boost overdrive was set to enabled on their 3900x? Why??? Stock cooler as well. Also I don't think my cooler is seated properly. Getting 50 degree idele temps on 50% fan. That's crazy!

    • What are recommended settings for bios?

      • For warranty PBO should be disabled.

        The issues stem from boards overvoltaging the chip. So many forums on AMD have set a Vcore at 1.3(ish} volts.

    got my pc today, ordered 23rd Oct gigabyte eagle. Got the PC , yet to receive the accessories box. Haven't got the chance to test the PC but it looks nicely built everything looks fine in PC. thanks Luke

  • As I wait for Techfast support to get back to me, can anyone help me with my PC issue?

    My build got delivered today, tried connecting it to a monitor but theres no display, I got the Aorus x750 wifi and tried all DVI and HDMI display ports, even tried using the Mobo display outputs, but nothing.

    • maybe try install the GPU again
      there's been some reports of the GPU not seated properly, maybe shifted in transit

      • does that void my warranty?

        • I doubt it, unless you did/caused damage.

          If you know how to correctly remove + install a GPU, I see no reason why that would void warranty.

    • Any fixes mine is going through the same right now :(

      • Update techfast support asap if you haven't done that yet.

        I tried connecting my current 1050ti into the build in place of the 3080 and it worked. Was able to check BIOS and see that all components were working too. So I think something happened to my GPU during transit. I also wanted to see if it was possibly a motherboard issue, so I tested the 3080 on another PC build, and the card didn't work as well.

        Sent my GPU back to TF yesterday morning, so now I'm just waiting for a new card

          • @badd2k: Support should provide the details for the return, but you'll need to securely package the GPU and show Auspost the return package slip that TF provides.

            • @Scribbles: Fixed the issue, GPU was not seated properly and the power reset button wasn’t in the correct spot.

              Was a hassle but it happens with Pcs still such awesome deals from techfast!

      Today we received Gigabyte cards to get us into the start of December orders. MSI Ventus is on the way to fulfill any of those orders.

    Is it just me, or is it super hard to add cables to the modular power supply once it’s already installed? That space between the PSU and the Hdd cage is tight!

        • Hi may I know when did you order the system? I tried to claim COD as well, but they rejected my message and said:

          "From the invoice date, it does not qualify for COD. We may have some code left for WATCH DOGS" ( I ordered the system on 24/9)

          The COD date is beginning October 30, 2020 through January 11, 2021 or while supplies last.

    Ordered december eagle on Oct 29, sales told me i should expect it at least jan and i'll miss it for christmas..

    So update on my PC, the GPU seems to be the only component that isn't working - something must've happened during transit.
    Sending it back to TF tomorrow, but I recommend to anyone getting it pre-built to maybe consider getting the GPU delivered unassembled (if that's an option)

    Just received my new GPU in the mail after the one that came from my system was DOA. Booted up perfectly… Submitted the issue over the weekend and was shipped a brand new card (looks like it came straight off the pallet).

    Was offered an upgrade to the MSI Ventus or Gaming OC… Chose the Gaming OC.

    Thank you to Callum and Luke for getting this sorted ASAP!

    Today marks my 3 month anniversary of ordering my pc. I still have no pc. I hope I get it soon. I'm totally regretting my placement of this order.

  • Still no update on my 18/9 October order. Aus post recieved it at an unknown location. No update since. I am hoping its not lost. I'm doubting ill get it this year. I'm half way through my second lot of 24 days of leave that I expected to be playing on my pc. What a let down.

      Have you raised a ticket with Auspost? Is Techfast also helping you follow them up?. Legally it is still Techfast's goods until it is delivered to you so if it is lost you should request a refund and buy another PC.

      Here is a link from Vic consumer affairs but all states have something similar(sometimes have to go through a few pages to find) but really it shows it is the sellers responsibility to follow up missing or late goods …and also review the charge back information.
