Waiting for these to be $199 again.

    • Bought mine from that deal, no regrets.

      • +2

How comfy are the WF's…I have heard the the extended plastic earpiece is troublesome, about 1 - 2 hrs of use before it starts to hurt?

        • +2

my problem is actually to get them to stay in my ears, I can't eat with them on for example

          • @ln28909: What eartips are you using? I always swap mine out with comply foam tips.

            • @Skinnerr: the foam tip just doesn't stay in my ear at all, the silicon stays but falls out when I eat, have tried all the size available

and yeah I can't justify paying like $50 for the comply tips

              • +2

@ln28909: Have you you tried a bigger size? With some moisture and squishing them with 3 fingers into a triangle shape before inserting into my ear, foam tips never fall out on me.

and yeah I can't justify paying like $50 for the comply tips

                I paid $20 for 3 pairs. https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B002NUSMC8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i…

                • @Skinnerr: okay maybe I don't squish them enough but yeah like those are not specifically designed for the wf-1000xm3, the one that are suitable are ~$50

        • +1

I haven't had any problems with my ears hurting, even after prolonged listening (4+ hours). However, they feel a bit loose in my ears. I've tried all of the included tips, but even with the most comfortable one, they still feel like they'll fall out of my ears when moving around. YMMV, but that's my experience.

I need to point out that I switched to these from Bose Soundsport Frees, and the tips on those are absolutely superb, they lock in very well and don't feel like they'll fall out even when exercising.

        • +1

Yup that's about correct for some people.

You are supposed to put them in and turn them 45-60 degrees.

For me about 2+ hours the plastic starts to hurts my ears. Fantastic earphones though.

      • can you link the $199 deal? not the refurb one last week.

    • +1

I bought a pair during that deal and recently sold them, fantastic sound and noise cancelling but terrible for making and receiving phone calls, even with the latest firmware.

      • Agree, people complianting all the time that thet have huge difficulties hearing me… . Ok for music .. but as iOS user airpods are heaps better. There was a youtube video made by a guy targeting Sony on their terrible mics, turns out to be true.

    • +1

Sold mine, got airpods instead. Found the Sony's bulky and uncomfortable

      • How much did you resell them for?

        • +2

          $210 posted

      • Same. moved to airpod pros and its surprisingly great noise cancelling too

      • +1

        For Sony WF-1000XM3
IMO pretty obvious that Airpod pro wins in most comparisons

        But for Sony WH-1000XM3
I do find that the Noice Cancellation is way better than Airpod pro (I own both)
Especially when I try to wear them in flight
WH1000 XM3 basically block out above 95% of low frequency noises from the airplane engines
while Airpod prod can't even come close

    • Waiting for them to be $20 fit the first time. QCY's are so good at about $25, that I use them more often then my Jabra 65t. Can't see how can a pair of Sony buds be worth more than $200.

You've done your good deed for the day, be proud of yourself buddy

Still waiting for an order made in July from these jokers, beware most of the time they have no stock.

    • sadly have to agree in terms of Digi online store. I always try to go instore for digi because there customer service skills is always beyond (Cannington branch at least).

even their staff agrees, when i explained i had an issue with an online order, they say the online teams are always behind or slow, and gave me a direct contact to rectify it quicker.

    • +1

This x10. I've made 3 orders from their sales, items ALWAYS are out of stock and delay is > 2mo. It wouldn't be so bad if they actually had accurate "in stock" indicators on their website. All items previously ordered were "in stock". Sad panda.

    • +1

Made an order on Sept 9, it was delivered to me on the 14th. So…I dunno.

  • +3

At first I was like, wow thats crazy cheap, just because the xm4 came out.

Then realised it's the smaller in ear types. Still a good deal, but my galaxy buds are still kicking.

  • +3

DJI Mavic Mini Fly More Combo is decently at $640.

    • Instantly searched this, putting my order in now :)

    • Cant find it via mobile. Can you share link please

      • There’s a new thread dedicated exactly to this.

  • +1

It's an mazing earphone. Amazing Sound Quality. Noise cancelling is awesome. but unfortunately not for all type of ears. I have them for more than 8 months. It comes off so easily. I've dropped them 100 of times. I've used all the ear tips.

  • Little note. Had a plastic piece broke recently on a different model of top of the range headphones from Sony. Called them and after I told them I bought headphones on ebay they said it is not covered under warranty because it is not official dealer. I also provided serial number which they told me cannot be found in their database. Seller on ebay had statement that headphones are original.
Keep that in mind and perhaps register product with Sony and verify if it is original product.

    Good luck.

  • Ebay link links to nothing

  • Just a heads up for those interested.
Ive hard these for over a year now.

Theyre fantastic in all aspects, however the mic is a huge let down especially in the age of zoom calls ect this could be a big deal for people.

They did have an update that improved the mic, but its still pretty dissapointing

    • +1

So, not "fantastic in all aspects"? :)

      • All aspects but 1*

    • +1

Just bloody retarded by Sony to make a premium headset with a C grade mic

  • Grr why do I keep misreading the WF-1000XM3 as WH-1000XM3 :(

    • +1

You need to concentrate on the F and not get distracted by the H.

You get distracted by the F the H.

    • The bigger issue is that they are labelled as headphones rather than earbuds.

  • +4

Why i'm seeing camera on image, thought it was camera deal. Haha

    • +1

Me to, I've been thinking about getting a good camera for a while and was like Oh score! lol

    • So did I lol.

    • same here lol

    • +1

It is a camera deal, go to a7 3 page on ebay digidirect you will find the deal = $2310 after 20% discount.

      • +1

Looks like a great deal. I ordered mine and it said it is posting today!

  • Is this just the 3 items mentioned, and no camera gear?

    • +1

Its all the items on their eBay listing, but being ebay quite possibily price-jacked. Cross-check their website http://digidirect.com.au and see if the ebay listing is an actual deal. Sometimes these ebay deals turn out to be pretty mediocre when shopping around.

      • Thanks, I'm looking at Fuji gear, I know the normal prices so won't have to worry about price jacking.

Just looked at the X100V, it looks like the base price is $100 extra than their official site, but this is still a good deal.

      • I would do a good search on google and see if other places are selling cheaper. Even though they might not price jack, their regular price might be significantly higher than elsewhere (e.g. digitalcamerawarehouse, Amazon, etc) so that the discount would be negated anyway.

  • Thought camera in the thumbnail is $199 :(

  • cameras seem a bit over priced…

  • Can this be used in conjunction with the Sony cashback promo?

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/561388

The FAQ states no 'clearance ebay sales', but then also lists 'Digi Direct' as an authorised dealer.

    • +1

I bought Nikon z7 from these guys earlier this year and got a digi direct invoice and was able to claim Nikon 50mm as part of the promotion. Same should work for Sony, they’ll have no idea you bought off eBay.
Can always check with store though, I did and they responded pretty quickly confirming I’d get store invoice.

      • Cheers Bozman. I ended up contacting digiDirect and they said it could be used with the Sony cashback, but almost immediately after that the A7iii listing was pulled. [sigh].

    • +2

      Yes. Eligible.

I checked with the chat support on Digidirect website. They confirmed that it can be claimed.

  • +1

Anyone know when this sale ends? I'm real close to buying Fuji X100V, but need a few more days to think about it…

  • Thanks OP, xmas gift for GF sorted B-)

  • are filters not covered?!?

    • eBay ended the deal early

      • its back… bloody ebay

  • I'm with some of these other guys. Great sound, ANC is top shelf but they are the poorest design I've tried. Not matter what I tried, couldn't get them comfortable. Even ordered some silicon tips with no joy. I notice the new mid range wireless earbuds Sony have released are a different design, for a better fit.

  • Magically, the camera is back in stock now :)
