  • Can you flash these with tasmota by any chance?

    • Haven't tried it on Tasmota yet, not sue.

      • Ah dang, I'm running all tasmota locally on my setup, no worries, thanks for the fast response!

        • which ones are you currently using? I am interested in tuya converting one to see how it goes

          • +1

@HereOnDailyBasis: It depends on whether they have the latest tuya firmware which stopped the exploit tuya convert relied on.
The only way to find out is to try converting one.
I've done the Genio ones & Kogan in the past but can't say they will still work.

            • @at9: I'm having issues with the later gen genio stuff - only could flash one of the RGB bulbs I got on special from woolies the other month.

  • Zigbee ?

  • Discount code needs to be all caps in the Add Discount field at checkout for it to successfully apply.

Plug and play? Also, complaint with Australian standards for insurance purposes?

Possible to control say 3-4 LEDs with one click, or do you need to manually turn them off/on 1 by 1?

    • Yes, plug and play, SAA approved.

You can control them individually or by groups.

      • Are the lights dimmable? Any deal for >5 LED lights?

  • Keen to give this a shot. I'll send you a PM on some concerns that I have.

  • Do you know if we can get this integrated with smartthings?

    • not for wifi version, zigbee version if you got the device handler.

  • Can you do any cheaper for 10 units?

  • I would be keen for the 12w version of this. I see they're $50 and on backorder though. 9w is pretty good but I'd like the extra brightness.

    • The backorder of 12W WIFI downlight takes only around 2-3 business days.

    • I'm interested with the 12w version too. Dimmable?

  • Thanks! Just bought some. Although just had a thought.

Plan is to replace existing downlights with these. If I turn them on with the wall switch, do they auto come on with a default colour? Or do I switch them on at the wall and then need to open the app to turn them on / off?

    • +1

The switch will turn 'on' to the state they are in the app. So if they were on and you turned off at the switch, when you turn on the switch, they will come on as normal lights. If off in the app, you will need to turn on in the app or voice command. Colour should be last colour it was set to.

This is my experience with different smart lights.
