Tubbz Cosplaying Duck Figurine $5- $10 Each (RRP $25) @ EB Games

110

I noticed all of the tubbz (cosplaying duck figurines) has been reduced down to $5-$10 from $25 at EBGames. They're good for decorating your home office. Note: They do not float on water.

    I can't believe they don't float.

I can’t believe people pay money for them.

      • The tubbz horror lineup looks pretty cool though

In that particular shot those do look kinda cool. But if I was into pop-culture stuff I’d rather make those 3D paper models that were popular about 15 years ago. In my opinion they had about as much shelf value as these ducks, if you’re an office worker would give you something to do when bored, and had the benefit of being free. Are they even still a thing?

@mapax: yeah but Ryu duck is doing a hadouken

          • @mapax: I actually had a few people at my old work making paper models. I made a couple of the Avengers (this was maybe 7 years back) and one guy finished off the rest of them. Then a few of the others started making all manner of pop culture things. Even the managers they were cool.

@mapax: 3D paper models?? Sounds awesome! Any keyword or sites I can look up?

            • @homersyd: Try "3D Paper Models", yeah I'm a smartass. "Printable Papercraft Models" seems to get some hits.

            • @homersyd: They weren’t really my thing so I’m not sure, but what buyingcrap said sounds right.
Back in the day there was a biggish online community who would make a lot of designs available for free, some of them were simple black and white whilst others were complicated colour designs. A few of the office guys were really into them and printed me a few four wheel drive and animal ones so that I could “liven” up my work ute.

If you like paying for things there are also 3D paper craft model books available where you punch the pieces out and then fold and glue them together.

        • No. What a useless pile of plastic. Who buys this trash??

  • Bought the Ryu & Ken, thanks.
