We just went and had a look at one… It's not great.

Extremely scratchy. Like there are normal scratchy ones and then there is this. It felt like walking on prickles at the beach. Texture was closer to hay than wool.

We picked up two (1.5x2m) black/white check flat wool ones for $29.95 each (plus $5 each for two anti skid mats). May be able to connect then together for the appearance of one large mat.
