extra 20% off if you add an echo device

This looks awesome. Are there any generic brands that do stuff like this? Trying to justify $400 for 18 panels (Cos I think I’d want more than 9)

Check out cololights. The lighting effects are much better than the nanoleaf

These panels are great, had them for about 2 years now and theyre awesome for mood lighting. Using them as a night light in kid room. Can be configured lots of different orientations and patterns….up to you, Realistically you need the other pack to make it to ~15 panels so you can make a decent shape….good price, but wait for black friday maybe?

  • +1

I'm not sure if i like the + design at the center of the light.

    • +1

I agree, I don't like it neither, to me personally Aurora one's are the best looking still.

just impulse bought an echo dot 4th gen + this for $189 shipped.

not sure if it's a good choice but they're expected to arrive in October 22 (when the echo dot releases) so I have like a month to cancel if needed (and if the prices drop on prime day, they will refund me the difference)

    oh + 7% cashback too

    • +1

      How?

      • +1

I had some amazon promo credit in my account. there's also 20% off the nanoleaf if you add an echo device, so effectively $39 for the new echo dot 4th gen (which I'm 99% sure will be discounted on prime day)

Alright talk me out of it please ozbargain brainstrust.

These are dumb and expensive, and awesome and I want them.

    • +1

      You know you want 'em.

      Just click buy now.

After lusting after these things for months, I've found myself with an embarrassment of nanoleaf riches this week… First I got a decent deal on a Rhythm set on ebay, and now the Canvas. (Before you tell me: Yes, I know they don't mix and match. I want to play with them, though. Maybe try the Canvas in a square in my living room, and the Rhythm in an organic design above my computer workstation.

Soooo tempting to even get two sets of the Canvas. But I'm going to sleep now, and I suspect ozb will solve that problem for me by buying them all up by the time I'm online again, LOL.

      • +1

        lol it's gone

    • I need someone to talk me out of it too. Gah

Put those free Udemy classes to good use and grab an Arduino and some LEDs! Cheaper and more fun/productive during these very boring times.

Ha…one of the pics on the Amazon listing shows an entire wall of 528 panels. Looks good, but a quick calc shows $11,675 at the special price.

    • +1

Ah, I see I'm not the only person who looked at a big array of those panels and calculated a "yeah, right, no, no one living outside of Hollywood, San Francisco, or Manhattan can afford to actually DO that," price for them. LOL.

      • +1

…or a not so well clad buyer who simply prioritises this kind of bling over essential expenditure…

        "Dad, I'm hungry"
"Yes son, but look at those lights"

Expired? Showing as $349 for me…

    • +1

Think I saw the same price on Ebay last night if that helps kudoz

  • +1

Apropos of nothing, but when I had a look at the Amazon listing, the first item on the "Sponsored products related to this item" was a Danny DeVito Cardboard Cutout for $79.50. What the….I mean, sure, I guess it would look good illuminated by the Nanoleaf panels, but still….

  • +1

Hmmmm…. I think this was a price mistake, but it looks like Amazon is honouring it, as mine is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. :-)

The reason I think this is that there's a 4-panel starter kit for the nanoleaf Canvas, which is priced at $199.

Congrats to all who got in on this deal.

    • +1

I was checking out with 3 lots of 9 as they changed the price :((

      • +1

        OUCH.

I grabbed one last night, and decided to ponder overnight grabbing a second. I noted in my comment last night that I suspected ozb would make that decision for me… but it turns out that Amazon did. LOL.

  • +1

    Oh thank goodness.

I was about to buy a set, possibly two.

Now that it's back to 349 I am saved.

    Thank you rngesus.

  • +1

God damn it, I missed out on spending 400-600 on two or three sets
Not sure if I'm happy or the 'work' card is happy (I was going to put this in the office)

    • +1

Think of it as 400 or 600 bucks saved.

      Led panels for this price.

Surely they'll be super cheap in a few years.

I can't believe I was also incredibly close to pulling the trigger.

  • +1

mine got delivered today (couldnt wait a month) and I love it! im hooked and I need more panels now.

    thanks OP!!
