      No, the units specified were reserved for this deal. Sometimes in large companies internal changes cause delays, but as mentioned above I'll see what I can find out before we jump the gun. They may just be estimates.

              @Kawaii: It's actually completely normal for companies to manufacturer on demand. A lot of mobile companies do this and Dell is transparent about this process. My post reflected that the coupon is good for 250 units, "250 units @ deal price". But like I said I'll contact dell to get an accurate shipping ETA if you're patient.

    Mines delayed until 23 Nov as well but I'm happy to wait as I probably won't use it much until the start of next year, so better to wait and get new stock and have the warranty start later (assume it is being built and not existing stock).

    Received mine 8/10/2020, not even a week, great job Dell. Screen looks nice in comparison to my Dell FHD, nice and crisp. Will have to upgrade the oldie as well, just waiting for a deal to appear :D

        I'm sorry to hear that, mate. I was pretty slow, it took me about 15 mins from the time the deal was published at OZBargain, so it looks like the slower you were the sooner you got it. … doesn't make much sense to me, but what does… Altogether it took 6 days (1 day to confirm the order, for 3 days it was in production, and the delivery itself took 2 days all the way from Sydney to Melbourne). So hopefully you'll get it soon …

    Hi guys. So an update for all those facing delayed delivery ETA end of Nov. Dell has reassured me it isn't going to be the current ETA.

    1st batch of 400 units will arrive 24th Oct. 2nd batch of 288 units will arrive Nov 7th. Depending which batch your order falls into you can expect to receive your monitor late Oct or early - mid November. Dell has informed me no one should receive their monitor later than Nov 14th and most earlier. Sorry for the inconvenience.

          Are the delivery times usually pessimistic? I ordered one of these earlier where the website said within 30 days. However the order confirmation says about 50 days.

            @smileycake: Delivery times aren't usually bad at all. With these deals however, Dell has specified an ETA then online team changed ETA on people's orders and obviously no one wants that. But as I said, we have clarified ETA, so if it's from this deal you shouldn't get it later than mid Nov.

    Mine arrived today. After I connected the monitor the horizontal width of my desktop icons changed to half the screen width. The icons are spaced out in 1 row only. I spent 2 hours with Microsoft support and 3-4 hours myself fixing it. They are asking me to refresh the windows. Anyone know a fix? My laptops screen is also qhd so I don't know what went wrong.

    Mine arrived this afternoon although they told me it was delayed to 23 Nov! Melbourne metro. Very nice! Now need to find out how to make it display 2K as a second display, it is currently doing 1080 x 2048 only.

        Tried that and didn't work. I am afraid the issue is because I am connecting a 4k and a 2k screen to my Surface Pro (gen 5) via Microsoft dock 2. This dock claims it can support 2 x 4k screens at 60hz. Not sure if it is the dock or the surface pro… It is also strange that on the screen where you select the resolution setting, it doesn't have a "recommended" setting.

          Not sure if this helps but I had an issue when using HDMI, it limited the resolution to 1080p or one notch above. Using display port it worked fine at full 2560x1440@75hz. Note my HDMI was connected to a surface dock using a HDMI to mini DP adaptor so I thought that might be the issue, whereas connecting via DP it was a straight DP to MINIDP cable.

            @cloo: Thanks, but they removed the MiniDP on Dock 2 and replaced with USB-C. Found the solution! Had to lower the 4K screen to 30hz from 60Hz (still 3480 x 2160) then the Dell screen can do 1440x2560 at 60Hz.It is the surface pro (gen 5) not able to support both of them at their best performance.

    Mine arrived yesterday after being shipped on the 30th (pretty quick delivery). I was definitely getting frustrated as I saw some fellow Melbournians getting theirs while mine was still ETA 24th of November. But boy is it a nice piece of hardware. I am by no means an expert on monitors and the different panels and all the other intricacies but I can definitely tell it's a quality product. The stand is excellent and versatile, the colours are great, brightness is superb (might be too bright for some, on pages that are majority white but you can turn it down). This was an upgrade to an older Dell I've had from way back in 2009. Going from 24" 1080p to this one at 27" 1440p was like getting a pair of prescription glasses after finding out you have astigmatism and things are blurry (been there done that). Overall definitely worth the wait once you receive it, so for those still waiting - hang in there!
