AAMI Lucky Club can also access Suncorp Benefits and pay using credit card with no extra fee.

    • That's how I'm doing it!

    • Ooh, thanks for this tip - had no idea! Do you know if you also get access to Good Guys Commercial?

      • +1

no. the free option is via sunsuper.

    • How?

    • Good to know. Does AAMI Lucky Club Offer anything else exciting?

      • Exactly same. User data shared and purchase limit applied as one account.

    • I knew there is one here. Just drop by to find the comment

  • wow that is great. Sadly not a member of Suncorp. Does anyone know any other ways to get Ikea discounts?

    • +3

Sign up for a free Suncorp account?

    • What nerdinary said + sign up for IKEA's free membership for instant $10 off

  • Doh, just bought some items over the weekend. Great addition!

  • Do they actually take 72 hours for delivery? So annoying if they do.

    • from my experience not with ikea cards though they've been instant delivery

    • +4

They say that for all their eGCs to cover their ass. In my experience it's always instant - Woolies, Amazon, Sephora, Target, Coles & Deliveroo (when they had them).

      • Same for EB Games, Super Cheap Auto and Kathmandu.

    • instant

    • They used to have excessive downtime over weekends, and on weekends with no downtime my orders would take a whole day. In the past 8 months they've been almost instant.

    Red sus

  • Sadly Ikea is out of my 5km @ Vic :(

    • +1

      Same, but they deliver!

      • ive used their delivery 3x now. it takes ONE month for them to deliver at least. Last time they delivered, some things came broken in box due to poor packaging.

        • +1

But they sent an Allen key to fix it though, right?

For info, here are the T&Cs:

REDEEMABLE IN STORE AND ONLINE, excluding online shopping in SA & WA, and excluding store click and collect.

Please be advised that there is a purchase limit of $1,000 per month for Ikea eGift Cards, and an annual limit of $5,000.

    • How come all the cards I get of them I have a monthly max of $500 for each different card ?

      • No idea, that's just what the Suncorp app told me.

      • could be different access.. how do you get access to suncorp benefits?

      • The monthly/annual limit depends on the type of card.
Every store has a different limit.

      • so they dont run out of the quota and everyone gets equal playing field.

  • Great addition

Can you also get the $10 family discount voucher if you pay by eGC, that is, as long as you spend $100 in a quarter?

    • Can confirm I received the quarterly $10 reward after spending $100+ using e-gift card as my payment method in store.

  • +5

Remember pay in gift cards get refunded in gift cards if you need to return anything for any reason eg if its faulty. Also cc insurances such as additional warranty, 90 day damage insurance dont apply. Always think to myself is it work it particularly on larger spends and small %off being potentially stuck with high value giftcards.

Can you use multiple gift cards in one transaction at IKEA?

    • Yes you can. But you have to ask their staffs to do the split payments.

Ordered something last night online. Just cancelled order and cancellation went through.

edit: tried to reorder and now get:

    "Contactless delivery is unavailable

We're not able to send you the items via home delivery at the moment. Please try again later or proceed with Collect.".

    That's a good troll.

    • Most likely delivery timeslots are full…

  • Profile pic is suss, get him out 😂

  • how long will it take for voucher to be generated

    • usually instantly, not sure about Ikea as it is new.

Does anyone know how many GC can be redeemed in one online transaction? As monthly limit is $1000 by suncorp and max. GC is $200. So can we redeem five $200 GC in one online transaction?

Note that this particular gift card can take up to 48 hours to activate in IKEA's system even if you have the card. I bought it at 11am, and was in IKEA at 1:40pm on the same day and it didn't work. Called Suncorp and was told the IKEA card is special.

    • +1

Same here but tried online after purchasing. Called IKEA and they told me the same thing - 48hrs activation.

  • Red looks sus

  • I have a suncorp bank account (with no money in it), when I tried to buy the gift card, it keep asking to "add an active product"
    What's an active product?

    • I get the same thing

    • I added my bank account no and it worked. But when I tried to add the gift card to the cart it say it may need 48 hrs for access after the active product is added. So I guess I just need to wait

      • Tried it just now, no issues. I got my Amazon gift card, no issues. Email was immediate

    • I got the same issue too when I first set up my account & joined Rewards. I eventually called up the the help line and they sorted it out.

  • I received a IKEA card in the morning of 5 Oct 2020 and still can't use it for online order (8 Oct in VIC). Could I ask if anyone successfully used this card?

    • Been 48 hours for me, still can’t use it.

      • Same, been a week for me and the cards still don't work. It's frustrating because I abandoned my physical cart at the checkout in the hopes it would work later. On my second visit it still didn't work and I just paid with my credit card.

It's frustrating that I now have to get a refund along with the wasted time.

          abandoned my physical cart
On my second visit it still didn't work

A lot of effort to try and save, what, $20?

  • Was it ozbargained? Tried logged in to AAMI lucky club and able to view the suncorp benefits giftcards list but can't find Ikea.

    • Just logged it and can't find IKEA gift card. It may be removed from there. Not sure what's happen.

      • Thanks for confirming, I thought I'm seeing things lol

    • So sad.

Hopefully, it's just a temporary removal, to fix issues with activating the cards.

  • I contacted Suncorp as I still couldn't use the cards after 48hrs. Was told that there was a problem with the supplier and I will be given a full refund.

  • Was ikea gc a new addition to suncorp reward hence teething issue with activation perhaps ? Or has it been always there for some time?

    Cant find it anymore now

    • +1

As per the original post of this deal it's a new addition. It was probably removed due to the activation issues. I haven't had any issues with other gift cards from Suncorp.
