      Dell wins. 165hz through dp cable in comparison to 144hz. Dell also has support for 2 usb ports, has cool back lighting. Unsure how the colour differs between each, dell doesn't have speakers whereas the viewsonic does. I mean, most people these days have speakers or headphones and monitors with speakers are pretty sub par in quality anyways

      1080p upgrade to 1440p is worth the upgrade my friend. The refresh rate isn't as huge but I'd take the 1440p for $500 any day of the week. I have 1 of these monitors already, but just bought another. I got in on the first deal for $507 which took 2 months to arrive though

        Recieved my order today. You are right mate the 1440p is sweet! Once I sell my AOC one the cost to upgrade was a no brainer now that I have seen it in person. Will go nicely with my 5700xt :D you said you bought a second, I have an old LG ultrawide 2560x1080 monitor as a second, maybe I should get another of these next sale or maybe the 60Hz version? Let me know what your thoughts are once you hook up the second!

    I got this monitor from the last deal but can't manage to get it higher than 120hz. G-sync not appearing either. Have a GTX 670 and from what I can tell I should be able to manage 144hz at 1440p. Tried everything, updating drivers, unplugging combinations. Anyone have any idea?

      I think 120hz is max for 1440p on a GTX 670

      Display Port is preferred over all the other connections, especially HDMI if you're using that. Make sure to get a DP2.2 cord as well.

        I'm using the DP 1.4 that came with the screen from Dell. And from the NVIDIA website it claims that the GTX 670 can use g-sync and also can go to 144hz. Very strange.

          GTX 670 supports up to DP 1.2 which should support up to 165hz but from memory I was only able to get up to 120hz at 1440p with my old Gigabyte GTX 670

      This monitor has FreeSync. It is listed by Nvidia as "G-Sync Compatible" which means that it works with FreeSync with Nvidia 10 series cards and later.

      What’s the version of your display driver ? According to Nvidia website the display driver should be 451.67 or newer for G-SYNC compatibility to work on this monitor.

        Hi Susith24 the driver version I'm using is 456.71. The system info says my graphics clock is 915 Mhz as well. I still can't tell if its possible or not to get more than 120Hz with my 670.

          Hey, I came across a page in EVGA website that says max refresh rate possible with GTX 670 at 1440p resolution is 120Hz (over display port 1.2). It can do 144Hz and 240Hz at 1080p. Hope this helps.

      same here. clarity is same the colors are bit different. This monitor i’m using with windows 10 + smart hdr and may be thats why. I will need to do some testing to color correct or adjust some things.
      Other than that the form factors are different so if you keep them side by side you’ll notice it (i have them separate)

      All in all it’s good monitor.
