Just for those unaware - there is no headphone jack.

Thanks for mentioning, definitely the most frustrating thing about this laptop!

No headphone jack even in a laptop?

    • Lol, I even hate that combo audio port, need two mic and speaker outputs.

Yeh, pretty crappy that it doesn't come with one. I believe it comes with a USB adaptor though?
Also it's such a good laptop in every other way that I could forgive it for not having one, but I would have preferred 16gb of ram, so I think I'll just end up waiting

  • Note that this ZenBook UM425 has an inferior display. It doesn’t get the Chi Mei panel on the Intel version of the UX425ja but a lower-grade panel found on the VivoBook series. Peak brightness only 250nits.

  • 250 nits or 400 nits display?

    • +1

As far as I can tell, the 400 nit 1w screen version never made it's way to Australia or the US. Haven't been able to locate it at all!

  • Definitely 250 nits due to the weight being 1.26kg. With the 1W 400 nit display the UM425 laptop should weights 1.13kg.
