I have been after a good quality jump start pack for some time. This is by far the cheapest I have seen.

  Are these any good as power packs, it states they can be used as such, but the lack of a specified Ah rating makes me think this is not a good use for them.

  I'd like to use it to power an Engel fridge when camping and ideally charge it at the same time via solar?

    nope. Only good for a few seconds of high draw. A fridge would kill it in no time.

    Perhaps it's the IP65 enclosure. Not sure what else. Perhaps more ruggedly built. I am interested to know as well.

  Amazon USA Prime Deal on this unit is $au177 but won't post to Australia - still may be worth it if you use a Freight Forwarder and have Amazon Prime USA. Couldn't get it to work with Amazon Prime AU account.
