Luv-a-Duck A L'Orange Duck Legs 500g $7 (Was $14.50) @ Coles

740

"Luv-a-Duck’s A L'Orange Duck Legs are cooked long and slow with a sweet orange sauce. A French classic!"

My partner noticed this deal when putting up the special tickets this morning.

He said they came in the same ticket batch as the catalogue specials, so should be statewide, maybe national. Ticket expiry is Tuesday, matching standard specials.

Haven't tried them myself. Bought a couple though for dinner.

I was preparing the duck for dinner. Really excited until I watched the video. I don't know if I can handle it anymore 😂🤢

What happened to your original comment? Did you develop something approaching a conscience in the last few minutes or did you just think people would see you for who you are?

@afoveht: You comment as if Fappo cares what you think.

But keep up your activism on OzBargain. I very much doubt you've converted anyone. Most likely turned people away from your cause.

@heal: Well, probably to the disbelief of Vofa I do get where they are coming from and respect their viewpoint. Meat eaters should come to terms with the origins of their meals and I'm all for animals being raised in more humane conditions than often occurs.

          • @afoveht: Yeah, I figured the joke about the delicious retard ducks that couldn't walk was probably a bit much, so I edited it out.

      • the duck video wasnt so bad, but they i watched the Foie Gras one - yikes!!!!

Do you have an alert setup for meat, or for each of the animals humans commonly consume?

  • Hi OP, can you use this to make a duck leg prosciutto?

    • +1

Guess not, since it's marinated and cooked already :(

  • Nice, will get this online for free delivery

Wait it is not online? Can't find it

    • I couldn't find it either. I guess it depends if it's ranged at that online store.

    • I couldn't find it either.

  • Aww, I wish it was posted 2 hours ago when I was there. Good price to try

At the end of the day we can all make our own choices. The duck is good at that price. More an entrée dish.

        Still a personal choice

Slave holders in 1840: "Don't abolitionists realise owning slaves is a personal choice? Anyway, slave trading is a legitimate business and without slaves our economy is shot."

      • Ok we are all Vegi eaters here ok.

    Luv a duck?
They claim to 'luv' you, then chop you into pieces and sell for profit.
    I hope I'm never 'luv'ed by them.

Luv to eat a duck :-)

Iove their pancake pack - might pick this up and make my own.

Doesn't appear in in store catalogue. Marked full price on shelf in store. (EDIT…scanned half price)

It's not with the other Luvaduck range but was on an end shelf….full price..

EDIT…scanned in store at the half price amount :-)

  • Looks very small.

    Can it feed 2?

    • +1

Maybe not just the duck itself. We had it with some rice. A bit weird since it's orange sauce. Maybe try with couscous like what it's shown on the label :)

  • +1

And 1/2 price Heinz ketchup ….. if you aren't into orange sauce.
