My first post on OzB.

I have been looking for an touch screen all-in-one for a while. I almost missed this one and caught it on its last day of offer. Looks like a good deal if you don't mind the i5, 8gb and FHD display. I personally like the one cable system and pop up web-cam.

"All in one" aka laptop that's not portable.
Better off getting a laptop imo.

      a 27" laptop…

      • Laptop with 85'' TV and carry - just need to buy a nice Van car.

        • Don't forget the portable generator to power it all, or does the Tesla powerwall battery come in a backpack form?

          • +1

@Cheapha: Idea is to buy a van with roof solar; should do the job else Tesla.

      • You could purchase a laptop + Screen separate for cheaper and better. It'd probably be just as 'easy' to lug around with you if you wanted to go portable.

That'll come with a mess of cables. AIOs are not for everyone, just like how tower desktops or laptops are not for everyone. Some people take pride in how neat their desk or office looks. An AIO is much neater and tidier than a separate screen.

    • haven't seen mainstream laptops with 27" screen …..

I was considering one of these to replace my Imac which sits on the dining table, I live om my own and often after eating , or during eating do a bit of surfing, ebaying, amazoning, TV as my dinning table is in dinning room not TV / living room, etc so an "all in one" is a great fit for some people.

I also have a laptop, ipad and mobile phone, but its hard to beat 24" or 27" screen.

    • These are great to setup in living spaces for family use.

Cheaper on Dell Ebay - $1399

cheaper on Dell with code EPP2020
      $1367

  • Bought the 24" i3 version for my parents, fast enough for surfing the net, emails and youtube. Speakers and webcam are built-in, everything else is wireless with only a power cable required so very compact and tidy.
