  • Online only? No Visa card in store?

    • I think that's liquorland.

First choice deals aren't that great anymore given half the beer they have on the online store is only in 4/6 packs with no cases unless it's the ultra cheap beer.

They're still good if you like whisky. Stacked this with an email offer I had for 5x flypuys points.

I stand by my comment. From that link you posted, there are 333 Australian beers and only 140 of them are available in cases meaning only 42% of beer can be purchased in a case. I said half but it turns out it's obviously more than half which isn't available in cases.

It's even worse in the craft beer department with just 22 of the 208 beers available in cases.

This seems to be getting worse as I got a case of Stone & Wood back in July (purchased online in a case) but now it's only available in a 6 pack. My local store still sells cases so it seems they're avoiding selling cases online to stop people from taking advantage of deals like this.

      • Clearly they men 'quality' beer - you cannot get Asahi Super Dry 500ml cans in 24 anymore and it is a purposeful design. You can walk in and see there are stacks on the floor but they have let 'the intern' come up with some new marketing strategies that are failing hard good old Dan Murphy's don't try such cheap parlour tricks and thus they are getting my business.

$55 for a 1125 Jim beam is not too bad with the Cashback. Also free delivery for $150 spend.

They also got $100 off dozen mix n match certain wines, not too bad either if you normally buy them, around the $20-$25 mark

  • Wonder why I can't order a carton of James Squire to collect. Only 6 packs !

Thanks OP. Ordered and got cashrewards tracking for the 15% within 15 mins.

  • Watch out for exclusions and BWS not working - last BWS deal from Cashrewards ended up with a lot of fine print that meant I only got half the cashback I was expecting.

      First choice not bws

  • Glenmorangie 10YO for ~$60 and Johnnie Walker 18YO for ~$83 after CB. Not bad options…

I am still awaiting an apparent cashback from 16 Jul 2020 - does this mob even ever pay up or is it just a DATA farming site?

      • Good question mate - have you put through your query with the deets to CashRewards directly? All my cash backs have been pretty smooth, appearing within 30 mins on my account. And the one that didn't auto-clear was with BWS which they resolved in a week after my manual request.

  • $150 for free delivery is a bit steep, guess I can stock up…. or go on a bender

    • Personally I'd plan for the first but end up on the later

  • What I spent $150 and it’s charging shipping , is it because I’m ordering cider ??

  • strange how there are plenty of cartons not available online for a specific store yet they have them and also the prices for quite a few cartons are higher than they were last week

I was going to spend $177 on Canadian Club and shipping was was going to be charged.

    • weird , I thought it was because the fine print said wine and spirits but Canadian club is definitely spirits !
