Is this even a deal? This isn't even that cheap? Just got 18 370w panels and 5kw Huawei hybrid inverter 6.6kw system for 3800 installed.

    • Thanks for the reply. If you use the coupon code OzBargain300 the deal is pretty good.

    • Did I miss something, does one need a hybrid inverter to attach a battery at a later date?

      • I think your right cristobaljames, if you get a battery that does ac to dc charging (like a Tesla, Panasonic, Emphases, etc) then it's not necessary. The GoodWe inverter listed here is a basic model only.

For the Solar Edge, if you decide to go battery, you install the StorEdge battery interface with the LG Chem solar battery and you have dc to dc charging, which is pretty efficient.

    • Where did you get that from?

Saw someone post up mentioning 'Solargain' and came back to check

  • SolarGain, one of the two key players in the solar market offer 18, 370w Jinko panels with 5kw Huawei panels for $3600. Not a deal at all.

    • Thanks for the reply. If you use the coupon code OzBargain300 the deal is pretty good.

    • Would you recommend SolarGain? and/or any other companies?

There are two main players; infinite energy abs Solargain. Even you can get 10 years warranty for Fronius inverter only from these companies.
