Another reason: Kogan automatically saves your credit card details when purchasing and at least two OzBargainers have had their accounts hacked.. I’d recommend removing the saved credit card after purchase and ensuring you’re using a unique password for Kogan.

been in same spot. ordered a certa 18v brushless Impact driver, came in with scratched box, doubled sticker sealed, scratches and oil on the tool.
reported to support, got a second one free of charge, similar conditioned. Either very poor QC from factory or just bunch of returns being sent out again.
I purchased a iPhone from Kogan a few years back as a work phone and when it had a issue outside of warranty I took it to Apple and was told it was not an original iPhone, a Chinese copy.
I don’t mind getting cheap items from them like a fan etc, but wouldn’t trust the apple products to be original or brand new.
Surely you knew it was a fake iPhone. I don't think there are any replicas that have the ios on them.
@AydenFX: It was only used to make and receive calls. I was a driver for a hire company. I never tried to download apps.
It did what It needed it to do.
@ScratchMaster: Also I didn’t neg the deal as I have got other items from Kogan that I’ve been happy with. I just wouldn’t trust getting apple products from them.
@AydenFX: There's a huge industry in 'chop shop' iPhones – they have an original iPhone logic board in them, but all the other parts are aftermarket rubbish. Basically, they collect smashed iPhones for cash and remanufacture them as 'new' but in fact they're made of poor quality parts. I've been caught out with this myself with an eBay seller. Ended up getting a full refund from PayPal though.

This is a good price but I personally would prefer to pay more and avoid Kogan. Their customer service is rubbish.
I for one had a good service experience with Kogan. Cheap shit entertainment unit arrived with a corner bashed in. Sent Kogan an email with picture of damage and they sent another one out straight away. So that experience was quite good.
Only time I had need of Kogan service centre though, and I am not a regular Kogan buyer.

That cracked me up…..Same here, truly dreadful company. Made the mistake of buying from them once and they just keep sending me emails, even after unsubscribing, happened quite a few times. Now I just hit the spam button.
