    Any bargains?

I've bought various items from them occasionally, including USB cables and gloves. The postage is generally free otherwise for a little extra registered. Prices are generally at the low end of the overseas sellers. They have a good range of items too, well worth looking at.

Generally yes, but for heavy items like soldering stations and 3D printers, the shipping costs on those make Fasttech more expensive than Ebay. Fasttech say "Free shipping on everything", but it isn't true. If you want examples of non-free shipping, almost everything on this page: https://www.fasttech.com/search?3d%20printer

Also, Fasttech will not ship batteries, or anything containing batteries.

Other than those limitations, I like them.

Still waiting for my delivery from February which they provided a fake tracking number to PayPal, further delaying the item not received claim.

Sorry to read of your experience. I've always received my orders, although some can be very slow. They also post a photo of the packaged item sent which provides some confidence it was actually posted. I'd recommend registered post to be sure.

I dont believe they would supply a "fake" tracking number, the missing package would be covid related…. Paypal probably put 100% faith in FT's reputation and the photo of the package they would have supplied…

The free shipping tracking numbers usually dont work with Aus Post, they're not trackable (you get what you pay for), I think they may be trackable out of china on the chinese tracking sites though, and they dont usually show up after 3 months I think… If you want full tracking you have to use paid shipping…

My last order in July I used Australia Express ePacket which is usually pretty snappy, but from memory it took about a month, maybe a little more.. (I tried to look up the exact delivery time but Aus Post just shows it as "pending" now, I assume due to their current issues they're not showing older tracking history …

Aussie Expedited is usually quicker then the Express, but it costs more..

I would strongly advise against using the free shipping at the moment, with the lack of passenger jets flying there's a good chance your package will sit in china for months !

Have you tried 17track.net to check the tracking number? 17track does almost every tracking system in the world. https://www.17track.net

Yes my orders from a month ago just arrived. Shipping is slow but i've been buying from Fasttech since 2017, some larger orders in the $400 range and they have always delivered. Some orders where one of the items have been out of stock they have asked if i want a refund or credit and sent the rest.

So no issues from them at all, and yes they take a photo of the parcel which you can view in your account and see the label and shipping details. They wont supply a fake number.

    • Totally agree. If not in a rush, shop away as some great stuff on Fastech.
