      It should work? I used mine that came with my case recently to do the same thing. They're just a dumb cable, no magic going on there.

        yup, i have the1-3 and 1-5 of these, rule of thumb is a 4 pin splitter will work on a 3 pin and 4 pin header, a 3 pin will only work on a 3 pin

  If you can wait, you can get splitter hubs with 10 argb headers and power in (so you don't run off mobo power) via sata/molecular connector from psu.

  There's also similar hubs with both argb and pwm headers.

  I find these better if your fans come with decent length cabling.

  Hugely overpriced cables IMO. Should be able to get these for a few bucks.
