      Um… its not waterproof - so you decide. (best located under cover eg eaves)
      Feedback is that placing near keyhole is helpful, or along walkways. So people use it outside - but may not last long. But at the price…

      Yup, night and outside. Have it fitted to my gran's front door just above the keyhole. When she comes home it automatically lights up so no fumbling about.

    Reports that the light comes on during day (IR sensor may be triggered by heat from sunlight etc - so choose a good spot) & 5 seconds of light is too short (encouraging nocturnal movements & quickies - so can't be all bad).

    I've seen a similar model to this with the same sensor but with 3 LED's. They work pretty good, a bargain at ~$4 each incl. shipping.

    Great price if they work well! I have But also have an ALDI one that cost about $10 and the batteries last for months on end, I wonder if these will be the same. Good for helping you find the keyhole at night without having to also find the light switch, and for the bathroom so you don't have to turn on the lights at 3am.
