RRP is a joke. You can buy premium natural lake salts or Himalayan salts for less.

    $8 normal price??? BS.

    • +3

In biblical times it was probably worth that. Donkeys were the preferred method of transport.

True. I've never paid that much for BS (fresh or manure)

    $8 price is bullshit.

I took my Himalayan Rock Salt back to Aldi and got a refund following the Health warning on TV recently. This particular product is "from Pakistan and bottled in China".I'm back to my used-to-be… Australian "Saxa All Natural Rock Salt".

    • The TV warnings on Himalayan salt were totally unfounded. Their charge? The nutrients were inconsisteny. No shit, Jack. What part of unrefined did you not understand??

Having said that, I agree with you: I'd much rather Australian than Pakistani rock salt.

    • Shivakamini Somakandarkram!

  • This is a bargaining exercise for Ozbargainers if they decide to visit India post COVID…. price being quoted there.. quickly half the price and then divide the amount by 2 and THAT $ amount now becomes your starting point to politely start your argy bargy bargaining :-)
