  Not sure how useful the zero is, probably why it's half-price.

  When it comes to monthwash only a few things have proven to have antiplaque effects on a clean tooth. chlorhexidine (savacol/curasept) is by far the best. The only other that has a shred of efficiency is essential oils. Listerine purple contains mentho/thymol/eucalyptol essential oils. Alcohol enhances their efficiency.

  Savacol will stain and curasept is not for everyday use.

  Mouth wash will only stick to a clean tooth to block bacteria itself sticking. Floss and brush or brushing at a minimum. If you haven't done anything to clean off the bacteria first then the mouth wash won't help.
