    best thing to do is to keep the saffron away from air and moisture. In an air tight container would be great.

  Bought these from a previous deal.
  Very nice, the flat disc container is a bit odd though. But otherwise worth a purchase.

    The container is designed to contain as less air and to be airtight to avoid moisture. But I know what you mean :)
