50

Got this email from my Citibank credit card (I think it should be valid for any of their credit card as per their link):

Use your Points to get credit back for almost anything you buy with your Citi credit card.*

Whether it’s your first flat white in the morning, a cheeky pizza, groceries or a wardrobe refresh you can use your Points to get a credit back, no matter how big or small the purchase.

Receive a $20 JB Hi-Fi eGift Card when you redeem 20,000 Points or more using ‘Pay with Points’ in November 2020.^

Getting gift cards is better value for points than paying by points, from what I looked few months ago. Not sure if that's still the case.

Still the case about a month ago.

      • Hi guys, could you plese point me which gift card is better value or they all the same? Thanks

    • With the $20 JB, it’s about same unless ur exchanging big amount, or u have Classic card. I checked the rate (except Classic that needs 4000) is 2500 points for $10, so 20000 points for $80 (sort of cash as it pays out the balance) + $20 JB. $100 gift card (like woolies egift) takes 20900 points.

  • I had a brief look into this when I saw the email.
I think 20000 points is about $90 on the statement.

    • More like $80 for 20,000 points..

  • dammit, I just redeemed 28k points last week :(

  • Does anyone know whether the 20k threshold must be reached in a single transaction payment, or can be cumulative across a number of smaller valued transactions? Wasn’t clear to me in the T&Cs
