    Finally pulled the trigger on the OzB's favourite 34" monitor. Not into any kind of gaming as such but I hope coupled with a USB C adaptor, this'll do a fine job for my WFH setup. Thanks for the post.
    Also, just to double check, this is local stock covered by Australian warranty and not some 'grey' import which is simply shipped from an Australian warehouse, right?

      In terms of warranty, they're not Xiaomi Australia stock like what you'd get from PC Byte or Mobileciti, but they're covered by a 2 Year Warranty which is provided by Gearbite which is very similar. Gearbite is an Australian company so you will just need to return it to Melbourne if you have any issues.

      Just note that if you run a USB-C to DP adaptor it can only output 120Hz (which is what I do when WFH on my laptop), you need DP to DP to get to 144Hz.

          The DP that comes with the monitor can do 144Hz not a problem from a PC that supports it, it's just a bit weird over adaptors :)

    Have a LS-P. Pretty handy, but I didn't realise how tiny it actually was, to the point of being too small… OK for the odd measurement here and there, but if needing to use for any extended time something a bit bigger would be a bit better to handle.

    For anyone trying to run this with macbook pro:

    1. if you are with newer version of mbp, a usb3 cable to display port is needed for 144hz(verified on mbp2019 15inch version). Note you need to buy cable explicitly support higher bandwidth. An HDMI will do the job at 60hz, but not 144.

    2. If you saw the screen went super white turn off the hdr in mac display setting.there is some compatibility issue with that setting

    3. If you think the text is blurry,turn on hidpi for it (you might not need it if you don't sit super close to the monitor)

    If the S5 max comes down from $799 to $679 that's a very good buy. Great little vac though the mopping leaves a little to be desired but pretty good if you modify it. I fold a chuck wipe a few times and stick it between the Velcro pad and mopping unit to increase pressure on floor. Works well.

    I had an older model of this, a very reliable, compact and indispensable tool, until it was stolen.
    One silly bug (it clears the on-screen history of past readings if it can't successfully measure) but otherwise very good indoors.
